FLIGHT ATTENDANT GALLEY PREP

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

I just want to point out that I ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS use a ton of hand sanitizer before and after I set up my galley & sounds in the galley are much louder (plus I boost my audio because I have a soft voice) so i know it sounds like I'm slamming things but everything is louder in the galley! We were delayed so I thought I would vlog a little sneak peak hope this helps a crew member out there! :)

1:30 that galley cart caught me off guard, didn't know they had that much space in there... gives the passenger a sense of what really goes on behind the scenes. Great video.

I know I've said this before....but I so appreciate your willingness to share some of what your job is like. For a passenger, it helps us to understand the amount of work the flight crew does before boarding. You and I share the same work ethic. I'm in a technology field, but there's like a million different things that need to get done before my day starts. It shows the quality of your personality...which I always love. I have people on my team who pulls things together the way you do. It is so awesome. And I am so glad you decided to repost this video. Hopefully we'll get to hear one of your current vlogs. Much love as always - Leroy.

This is why I have subscribed to your channel. You tend to consider others, by explaining in depth certain things without being long-winded.

I was a flight attendant in Cathay Pacific and I only do international long haul flights. It's really cool to see how others set ups in different aircraft and what a big difference we had. I'm so glad you shared it and o my goodness, we never have this much time before boarding. And we never can listen music while preparation like u do. O my god it seems like really chill flight, so lucky!! I wish to join u haha

Hey Ashley! Thanks for the video, I really enjoy galley prep videos. A few questions, is this one of the smaller galleys? I've seen galleys that are much bigger, I see how multiple carts fit in the same slot to make them all fit. Also, is there anything you like to do with your carts personally to make service run smoother?

I was thinking of applying for this job but no offense it reminds me when I was 17 when I worked in fast food and now I’m 28 and graduated college years ago. I couldn’t see myself doing all the food prepping etc taking food requests etc. it’s hard labor and very tedious. It seems they pay “high” but give you only part time hours (80-90) hrs a month making about $300-400 a week. You could make the same working at a grocery store or fast food with less stress and responsibilities Thank you for this video and not sugar coating anything ♥️

ThottyNigga yeah I’m very passionate about flying and traveling that’s why I considered this job, but to me flying for “free” which you have to sacrifice your time and energy and also time spent with spouse, family and friends to me isn’t worth it. I have a family member who is in this field he recommended me not to do it since I’m married. I don’t want to sacrifice my marriage. Also I enjoy traveling as a passenger I don’t think I would enjoy traveling having to work the plane they are two very different experiences . It’s not for me but thanks.. Take care
