Shiwen has applied for flight attendant positions at Lufthansa, Austrian Airlines, and Eurowings. At each Lufthansa group airline, he was successful enough to be invited to attend the selection day process. He joins me as we share our personal experiences going through the process of applying for flight attendant careers with Lufthansa, Austrian Airlines, and Eurowings.

Becoming cabin crew starts with the first step of applying for the job with the airline. Next there is usually an invitation to attend a flight attendant assessment day, flight attendant selection day, flugbegleiter casting, or stewardess casting.

Yes the 7 weeks training was free of charge. Besides, during the training everyone got around 400Euro per month. What you need to pay is living cost and you need a laptop or tablet, and a phone 😊

Yes , you need to speak German fluently. It’s a German airline.

I don’t know what you got mixed up here but you definitely need to speak German in order to work for Eurowings. They want German and English, if you don’t speak German , that’s it for you.
