Electricity... While solving 60% variable.... Calculation should be 18000*50/60.... So we can get answer as 15000 .... Though your answer is correct.... You calculated wrong by using 80000 instead of 18000.

😮in exam i didn't knew it 😳 was supposed to solve like this instead i solved differently and it came with same Ans as you now I'm relax that i solved correctly. In examsheet they said "Prepare Flexible Budget at 50 60 70 capacity. also calculate overhead rate" so i made two columns Rate & Amount 😂 Eg.,6000÷60=100 , 100×50=5000, 100×70=7000 🤔 i think also calculate rate means i did right like they said✅️

Normally the labour hours is multiplied with the cost per hour and used in overhead

The calculations are correct. . The indirect labour cost is written 18000 in the question itself. And its 5000+15000=20000. Due to low resolution 4 looks like 8 and 5 looks like 6. If you see the video in 480p, such confusions wont be there. Anyways, thank you for your concern Mansi!

6000 is at 60%. Hence 5000 will be at 50%. I haven't written anywhere 600*60%. In working note i have written (50*6000/60). I hope its clear now

In the question, if we take the example of electricity which is 40%fixed, i.e 40% of 30000 = 12000 will remain fixed in all the three capacities(50%,60% and 70%) manje jab fixed hoga tab teeno capacities me number change nahi hoga

and then the remaining 60% will be variable, so 60% of 30000 = 18000. now the question is given at 60% capacity. so you will write 18000 under 60% capacity and you will find the 50% capacity and 70% capactiy by simple cross multiplication. Hope its clear now
