Flex Stack Pack Storage System | Full Review and Walkthrough

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Flex Stack Pack Modular Tool Storage System just might change the way you store your tools and equipment.
In this video, Kenny walks you through the full Flex Stack Pack system, including the 3-in-1 rolling toolbox, and all the accessories, add-ons, and quirks you can think of. Flex loaded this system with a ton of organizers, bins, cases in more that are nearly all interlocking and compatible. Flex Stack Pack and all of the add-ons are expected to be available at Acme Tools, Lowe's, and other Flex retailers in the near future.

Great review! When I first saw this I thought this would be a Milwaukee clone, but they have made a dozen small improvements that really make this versatile. My only problem with this and 95% of other rolling tool boxes is that I don’t like having to dismantle everything to get my tools. If Flex can bring some heavy duty drawer or hatch boxes to this, I would buy no question.

Neat thing is you technically don't have undue the boxes stacked on top to get to deeper boxed. They will latch together and with one hand on the back you can easily access your bottom boxes

Extremely well presented information! I've noticed that the company lacks good information on their products. You have done a much better job that anything I've seen from Flex! Can you review the 3-drawer box? Would I be able to add the organizer to the top of the 3- drawer box without compromising function? It seems like I would have no issues since the top of the 3- drawer box is fixed. I have the medium and small suitcases. Thank you!

I have had the Ridged modular toolbox system for a few years now. The Flex boxes are very similar, but with improvements for all of the little annoyances and missed opportunities I've noticed over the years! It's too bad it completely abandons the heavy duty - yet budget friendly - niche that Ridgid does so well in.

Fantastic review. The "Red Team" could use some competition! The "Yellow Team" stacking toolboxes are not even in the game. The "Red Team" is just way too expensive. I have a lot of the "Red Teams" storage containers, but I fill them with the "Yellow teams" tools. One thing that I really liked with this particular system is the fact that you can mount the drill bit cases to the inside of the lids, and the gas struts on the larger boxes. I want to see drawer units. This is a big deal! So are the foam inserts. If you're watching this review, chances are you are a mobile service provider of some sort, and padded storage is a must to protect your expensive tools! I have high hopes for the "Gray Team."

Kenny been waiting for an update on the Flex Stack Pack so thank you for the review! Any word on if they will be coming out with a dual or 3 drawer system? In my opinion that would complete the system. Milwaukee and Dewalt make stackable drawer systems which eliminates the need to constantly remove cases off of the other and getting into the system while it's stacked. Husky also makes a cheaper version of this but their drawer systems aren't as deep but still a good budget option. Just curious...thanks!

Lowe’s delivered one today. I threw it in my car and returned it. The handle was damaged as well as the underpaid that rests on the floor. Actual gouges off material broke off. The latches felt cheap and so did the material of the whole construction. My packout is 5 years old now and has never broken apart like that. Packout for the win in terms of durability. I don’t care about the fancy things, mods are available. Good structure first for me. Great review though.

Bought this Flex pack out a few months ago. Used on three projects. The latches between the top box and the middle box kept hanging up or not locking. Soooo, tried to call company service to get a fix. Wasn't asking for anything but a tech to walk me through the fix(maybe a replacement latch?). First, good luck getting through, they DON"T answer their phones. After a half hour hold the message comes on offering a call back. No choice gotta grow old on the phone or give up. No call back, so the next day I try again, same deal, but this time I get a cal back. Pleasant young lady hears the problem and takes all my info and says they are sending a new replacement unit!! Of course nothing took place, NO Replacement Unit, No Latches, NO NOTHING!!!! The product seems to be well made except for these few minor issues, however I would never recommend buying a Flex product. They have no customer loyalty.

They definitely thought out the internal and external storage. Although most of those accessories are available for Packout from dealers like Packible, Jakeofall, common retail sites, etc. For Flex to incorporate them is somewhat lucky timing as everyone else did most of their thinking for them. They do deserve credit for applying those features. I will say that overloading the sides of the boxes with add-ons becomes an issue when you can't make it through a common door opening. One obvious thing that wasn't very smart on their part was to keep them stackable. A cart that allows the removal of each individual box without needing to unstack them should be the goal for every expanding mobile system. DeWalt has had it for a long time, Milwaukee kind of followed along with their cart, and it's also been incorporated into the new Ridgid Pro gear 2.0 boxes. Another thing I'd say is not the smartest on their part is side latches. I've noticed with my Ridgids that it can be annoying that I can't have them tight to a wall or directly side by side with another stack. It doesn't seem like much but the need to get your hand in there requires at least 3" of clearance. This means 4 stacks next to each other and you lose at least a full foot. That can be the difference of fitting an entire extra stack in line with your setup. The side latches extending above the top of the boxes also look vulnerable and they don't appear to allow for a table top style attachment or even just setting a sheet down to work from in a pinch. It also creates a trip hazard if someone chooses to use the boxes as a step stool if the situation arises that you need a little boost. If the pricing is competitive with Packout they're going to have a tough time transitioning people because they didn't go with a cart that allows for the removal of individual boxes. Just some honest feedback, overall I think they did a good job. Thank you for your breakdown of the features sir.
