I've ordered these, in addition, I have 6 gravity pro's on the roof and 2 double flex on the bumper. Can't begin to tell everyone how outstanding the KC lights are. When I say you get what you pay for, that's an understatement. I'll be sending you guys pictures of my CanAm Max Xrs RR smartshox car in a couple weeks.

Fantastic lights and probably one of the best formatted overview of a product I've seen! Love the night driving and output on the grid wall to get a feel for the beam pattern! Any chance I could see photos of the Gravity Pro6 lights comparing the wide, driving and spot on the grid wall? Any plans of putting 20w chips in the pro6 to make it a 40w light?

Awesome lights KC! Do you know if the ZRoadz 3" Hood Hinge LED Bracket will work for these lights on a 2020 F150? I'm worried the light might be too wide and bump the antenna on the passenger side.

I definitely need these lights!!! 🙌🏻 I saw them in action on Mike Hernandez’s keep at KOH and instantly fell in love! They would definitely come in handy for some of these upcoming DP4 night races!!

Great looking lights. I’ve been a KC fan since the 1980s. Are these shielded to minimize radio frequency interference? Are all KC LED lights shielded? Can you post this information on your website’s product pages? Thanks for the info.

What’s the weight of one single light

Hey Taylor, tried reaching out to customer service directly but I bought the 2 light system but missing the wiring harness like it had been removed from the box, rewrapped then shipped to me. What do I do? I don’t want to have to wait 2-3 weeks for a replacement set but also don’t want to make my own… seems idiotic to have to throw $70 on just the wiring and sit on FE4s until it comes in. Fml.

Ordered a set and was wondering which lock security nut set will fit the FE4? Thx!

So the kit is only for Jeeps? Dang. Where’s the Ford raptor love or Tacoma love? I see the 3rd version has a ditch light kit for the Tacoma, but I don’t see a ditch light kit for the raptor. These would be perfect

What is a brighter and more powerful light, the KC Hilites, Flex Era 4 lights or the KC Hilites, Gravity Pro 6 lights? I just ordered and bought a brand spanking new 2021 JL Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon. I’m going to add a KC Hilites, 50” Gravity Pro 6 light bar on the top of the windshield/roof and then on the A pillars and front bumper I’m going to add a total of 6, (2 on the A pillars and 4 on the front bumper) KC Hilites, Flex Era 4 off road lights or the KC Hilites, Gravity Pro 6 off road lights and want to have the brightest off road lights possible. I will then add off road lights facing backwards for better illumination when I’m back up at night when I’m out off roading. Last will also be off road lights mounted on the eventual roof rack that I will be adding at some point. That way I also have side illumination lights as well for any tight, technical trails that I will be exploring at night and/or will be using them if I am needing to access the sides of my Rubicon as well, if I’m either needing to jack up the Jeep for repairs or for whatever reason? The specific reasons why I am going a little overkill on the lights is because in addition to going out off roading at night, I will also be doing a lot of filming and video production at night. The set up that I’m going with will allow me to use different lighting set ups when filming at night. I will have lots of versatility in light placement, filming both with and without shadows and several other video production specific reasons. The last thing that I will be doing and lending myself, Jeep, drones that film in 4K and also have the ability to have both, night and thermal imaging cameras added to them, and any other equipment that I have, is to volunteer myself, and all of those things to help find missing persons or people in search and rescue, and/or search and recovery operations. Unfortunately, where I live, within 2 to 6 hours of me by driving, there are many locations that have missing people disappear under really weird circumstances. If I can volunteer my time and everything that I have to help find missing people who are either still alive, or are possibly dead, I can help save someone and/or help loved ones get closure on their family member and/or friend that disappeared. I first started learning about many of these cases because of David Politis, and his Missing 411 films, along with his KZread channel, Canam Missing Project. By having my Jeep set up a little overkill with numerous off road lights in every direction, it helps search and rescue and/or search and recovery operations locate missing individuals. By using all of these off road lights at night for any of those operations, I will have the ability to greatly illuminate any flat areas, valleys, and/or mountains that are all off trail. I can then send up several drones and watch and record everything and if need be, study the film afterwards, if nothing was observed while the drones were flying and I accidentally missed seeing the individuals, and/or signs that the missing person or people were in that same area. Another bonus of having a somewhat overkill set up of off road lights, is if a lost person or people see the off road lights from a distance, that will tell them where help is. If those individuals or individual are still mobile, it then gives them a point of reference of where they need to go to in order to be found.

So I ordered a pair of these to start out, as well as a pair of G4 LED fog lights. On my Rubicon, I ordered it with the steel bumper group and LED lights. The OEM fog lights on it are LED but the KC Hilites G4’s are better so I bought a pair of those too. The fog lights arrived yesterday but I guess the Flex Era 4’s are on back order. I can’t wait for them to come in! I am looking forward to getting them mounted up and doing a review of them as well as getting started doing some off road production videos at night.

I've already got a pair coming but was curious about the sku numbers mentioned in this video. What are the two sku's for - differnces, etc? They don't appear on the website (ao. 11.2023). The FE4 master kit I have on order is 0289 and the single kit is 1289.

Ok - found my answer in the new video for the x289 kits. The "old" kits reviewed here have two sku's because they only include one lens: either spot or combo. The new x289s have both lenses. Still think that would have been good to cover in this video at the time but - water under the bridge!

Are these legal on the road?

Are these going to be available sooner than the Flex Era 3s? I ordered my 3s in November and still don’t have them.

Have a RAM HD with the factory 6 switch panel. Can the amber center light be wired into the parking lights?

I’m wondering the same thing. I have a JL Rubicon with an auxiliary panel. Am I going to lose the amber light if I wire to one of my aux switches?
