It touches that place in us where we admit our brokenness. In 85, when I lost my child it got me through it. The words find that hole in your heart. I just about wore out the vinyl. But I did survive even when I did not want to anymore.

It connects to a place with my inner child. The part of me that was hurt and tormented. I dont know if that is what the rest of you feel.

I'm no stranger to seeing clips of her singing live, and I don't know that I've ever seen her look quite this visibly pained at times as she seems by the lyrics she's singing here, even after all the years that passed since she first wrote and recorded this. Damn... The stories her eyes are telling here, oh man.

And I would add Gate and Garden as a special song.

They harmonize like no one on earth.

wonderful song that got lost in the Tusk shuffle. 20 songs and the gems were over-powered by the half-way thrown together quick songs of Buckingham. Gotta say that Stevie's songs were outta this world on Tusk.

Stevie and Chris salvaged the train wreck Buckingham thought was his masterpiece. Even for LB these are among his worst songs in his catalogue.

“I have always been a storm” tattooed on my arm for life. Grateful for this song.

"Never ever have I been a blue calm sea, I have always been a storm". Could not have come up with a better description of myself if I had tried! Thank you, Stevie.

When I played this for my sister the first time, after this line, she pointed at me and said ohhhhh that's you!

Tusk was such a under rated and under marketed Album. Just because it was a double Album and a departure from Rumors the record company snubbed it.. Huge mistake as it’s become the most beloved Album for Mac fans. All three writers songs were amazingly beautiful. Stevie’s were just heart breaking and touching. Christine’s were like velvet and Buckingham’s were genius with the new and odd methods he used to create his particular sound... what a musical treasure Tusk is and will always be to music lovers.

Everything about her is so beautiful to me. But her eyes are beyond what I can take. She has to be about 60 here....her eyes look the same as when she was 25...so mesmerizing. Love her.

That’s Stevie not happy with the way that relationship ended. That relationship destroyed Mick’s marriage to Jenny, who was the sweetest person in the world. So did we really think that we were going to come out of it unscathed? So then what happened to me, my best friend falling in love with him and moving into his house and neither of them telling me? It could not have been worse. Payback is a bitch. Bad karma all around. Here’s that song in a nutshell: Don’t break up other people’s marriages. It will never work and will haunt you for the rest of your miserable days.

@@drliz6783 I had already seen this; however, she’s known to be coy about who her songs are about. Her fling with Fleetwood lasted about a year. I don’t think Micks the one she “loved from the start” and “I did not deal with you, I know, though the love has always been.”

Yeah that is a bit slow but the song before and after it might have been more upbeat so this could have been just a change of tempo for awhile..

I was thinking along the same lines. Coloured dresses look good on Stevie instead of her "age appropriate" black ones. Fine colour, this burgundy/maroon one. Please, do add a dash more colour to your wardrobe, Your Majesty!

What a great performance! Just stopped by for a listen and a quick cry. Works every time. See, I too have always been a storm.

SO many fans love and live by this song. It was great to see them dust it off. In fact, IMO, Stevie looked and sounded so great on the Unleashed Tour. It was the only FM tour since The Dance that I missed. One of my big regrets, but I figured it was another greatest hits/cash grab tour (which it was). Still wish I had gone.

Favourite song of all time forever and always. Cannot wait to (hopefully) see this live in June!
