I played Fleetwood Mac while driving from Michigan to California, this song was the most beautiful, that and Silver Springs.

Fleetwood Mac makes great music to listen to on road trips.

Since this album launched Beautiful Child and Storms were sort of my own private favs. I thought nobody else noticed them haha. what a legend she is...but what about John Mcvie on this ? incredibly underrated bass god

So true. I love how melodic he is with his bass lines. Sometimes when I play their albums straight through, I focus solely on his bass. Lindsey actually had to restrain him on Second Hand News; if you compare the demo to the final, you'll see what I mean.

Spot on Andrew ..Tusk from 1979 served us up this Absolute Gorgeous Track along with Storms and the Hauntingly Beautiful Sara . 44 years on and it is still Amazing !

Yes ... Derek Taylor ... the married press manager for the Beatles. She said she would sit at his feet while he read her poetry and he would say, "You are a beautiful child." She said the song is like a "straight retelling of the last night of that relationship." She recalls leaving the Beverly Hills hotel and walking across the grounds to a cab after saying goodbye. What a fascinating life she has lived ... and to think she has barely scratched the surface of her mystery.

She really doesn't write music. She writes poetry and Lindsey would tun those poems into SONGS!! That's why even though he's so anal and intense he's done an awesome job with Stevie's songs. I mean little melodies but certainly NOT songs. That's why she said Lindsey always knew just what to do with her stuff.

The drum and bass are too loud, too predictably clocklike and very monotonous in this version. The vocals are great, by Stevie. I am glad they changed this in the final version.....................

Sorry, but this isn't newly surfaced. This is a very bad copy of the electric guitar outtake version of this song.

So sad she aborted her child and then cannot have children. I think it was Don Hendley's but not sure. She was in love with Joe Walsh and later Mic Fleetwood tough for Lindsey but life can be cruel. Imagine what skills her child would have had. I know it is so sad and forever a thorn in my side.
