I was born in Fleetwood...a grew up around here when the fishing vessels still came in to the docks here ....sun sets are spectacular there..

I'm in my 70's brought up in Stockport- as a nipper, use to train to Blackpool, bus to Fleetwood to catch the ferry to the Isle of Man to stay and watch the TT races. The ferry eventually stopped running to we had to travel to Liverpool from then on. Dont remember a lot about Fleetwood so nice to watch you xxx

I used to have guitar lessons in a place that was over Heys Travel Agent (think that is what it was called) back in the late 70's, I am still friends with my guitar teacher after all these years; My parents lived on Larkholme xx happy days xx

Missed you live, but I was in Fleetwood yesterday. Took my neighbour for a walk on the sea defences. Syd Little's pub is The Steamer, opposite side of road to the ferry to Knots end, just a bit further on. Good video.

Nice one Stephen…I’m originally from Blackpool….and when i come back with the missus we always go walking on Fleetwood seafront for the great views. The view of the lakes and what’s left of the Wyre light (house) from the observation deck on top of the Rossal point tower on a clear day is even better….and it’s free to go up.

I live in fleetwood and have never understood its true beauty until following ur wonderful journey,i now see fleetwood through new eyes and appreciate it a whole lot more so thankyou very much for your video.

i remember staying in a caravan holiday in Fleetwood went out to the gala gran at night to disco great memories a lot of years ago

Remember those iom ferries and the big ships when I went to fleetwood on holiday on early 80s

The train station was on what is now waste land near where the ferry went to Isle of Man. Saw it on another video the other day.

The Railway Station at Fleetwood was on the quay side just beyond the car park area that was used for the Isle of Man Ferry. Keep up the good work from Ian and Elaine at the Point of Ayre on the IOM
