About Fleabag:
Fleabag is a hilarious and poignant window into the mind of a dry-witted, sexual, angry, grief-riddled woman, as she hurls herself at modern living in London. Award-winning playwright Phoebe Waller-Bridge writes and stars as Fleabag, an unfiltered woman trying to heal, while rejecting anyone who tries to help her and keeping up her bravado all along.

Saw a cool theory on Reddit about how when he says her love will pass, it’s not only a way of comforting her, but also a recognition that human love is fluid, unpredictable, and fickle. He chooses God because he views Gods love as the opposite.

Andrew Scott was a fantastic addition to the cast. It's easy to forget that he was only in the second season, and he's the only person who really seems to understands Fleabag, including noticing whenever she's breaking the fourth wall to the audience.

I love this ending. It's got the ability to heal and devastate you. I'm probably wrong but I'd like to think the viewer is actually fleabag communicating to her mother. the priest being close to God is the only one who sees her "disappear" also makes sense. And her loving the priest is the reason why she can see the fox.

I think is more like the viewer is her confident and can hear what is she really thinking all time in all situations...like a scape window. At the end she accept everything and she stops being auto destructive and now she is sincere with her self even if that breaks her heart. Now she does' t need that scape anymore and the viewer is left behind

That she had the courage to tell him she loves him - without explanation or trying to make it less than it is - is wonderful. His casual, "I love you, too" is done so perfectly. We don't know if he loves her the same way she loves him - maybe he does, but we'll never know either way! - but it is love and it is beautiful and my heart swells whenever I watch this scene. And he does help her - by the end she knows that she'll be all right.

I just love this season so much. When you know the characters it does offer hope that this is not the end for them. After all, he is hardly someone who follows the rules and neither is she. By loving him she has allowed herself to heal from some of the traumas of the past. She’s getting better, she leaves us behind as she doesn’t need us any more. I bet he’ll be back round her house in no time wanting to be with her, he won’t stay away. 😂😂

Whilst I don’t believe in fate or love at first sight, I do believe that you can have the love of your life. It may not be this ultimate journey where you defy all odds to be together or even when you end up together as life partners… but i do believe it is someone who you meet at the right time and place for it to change you for the better, forever. Fleabag meets the priest and though as the audience, we do naturally root for them to be together in the end, I believe that their “happily ever after” is this ending. Neither of them gave up a crucial part of themselves for love but they were together long enough, even if it was for just a snippet of their lives, to show eachother real, raw love and to grow. They exposed eachother and walked through it all together whilst never judging eachother. They did everything in unison even if they didn’t agree. Throughout season 2, you do have a gut feeling of not wanting them to lose themselves to the relationship (even if you do want them to be together despite this). However, the beauty of this ending is that, not only do they do NOT lose themselves, you realise that they hadnt even found themselves before finding eachother. I guess that’s what I mean when I say I believe in the love your life. They help you find yourself so that you can be a better person. Whether that be with them or without them…
