I'm pretty sure the mysterious metal box used to be a small purse, but it's missing its fabric, maybe velvet. The fabric got lost and you now have its decorative outer case. Even the way it closes is very similar to purses and clutches 😊

bonsoir, très belle visite. Les porte couteaux en étain sont très jolis, les lièvres sont aussi mignons mais plus courants, on trouvait des chevaux, des chiens, etc... dans le même style. L'objet mystère est, je pense, un porte monnaie où il manque le tissu à l'intérieur. Les cadres sont jolis et le verre, lorsqu'il est d'époque, est différent des verres d'aujourd'hui : moins lisses et avec des sortes d'imperfections. De belles découvertes, ces brocantes sont très intéressantes. Merci du partage
