Hello folks! Today we are in Tbilisi, at the "dry bridge" - a flea market located in the city center. Today there were a lot of interesting old German objects, Caucasian daggers, swords, and I also liked Caucasian checkers new and old works. Among other things, a lot of different stuff! Me too, but I get envious when I see the old, old stuff from Europe, while here we think a hundred year old item is ‘old’. We are mere babes.

True story: some of us were discussing antiques at lunch, one lady having walls covered with such at her home, and one young ward secretary piped up to say “I have lots of antiques! They’re Avon!” . Poor kid.

I always enjoy seeing what you find in the flea markets. I noticed the German items from WWII. Did the war affect your area? Or were you able to avoid getting caught up in the conflict?

Hello! Thank you for attention. During the Second World War, Georgia was part of the Soviet Union, and yes, a lot of people died from Georgia then in battles. As such, there were no battles on the territory of Georgia

@@user-xl2fc2ly5d I'll never understand why governments ie.. those in power chose to start conflicts that they don't even fight in. It's left up to innocents to fight and die for them. It's such an injustice that the people who usually don't have an interest are the ones who pay the price!!

I went to that flemarket. I found cool Russian USSR stuff and an AK-74 Bayonet there. I wish I picked up the WW2 Villain dagger there when had chance.
I always wondered if you ever found something you fixed at a market 😆. Are things always so expensive at your flea markets though? I swear I could hear that rusty sword, next to the white hilted one you were looking at, crying "save me!". 😟
Be careful with the german militaria dealer, he has good and bad items mixed together
4:39 is a couple license plates from my state of Washington.
8:59 I'm not sure, but I saw an African type straight sword there. A bit similar to Tuareg's takouba sword, or Sudanese short sword. Maybe people from Caucasus had the similar?
