Always a good time with Smalls .. Flea markets are always a great place to find all kinds of great stuff . My brother went to the Peaches to Beaches yard sale last on the last day of it when people was packing stuff up and he bought a whole table full of fishing and hunting stuff for a $100 just cause they didn’t want to pack it up. But back to flea markets I have walked past the dumpsters at them and you will be surprised at all the stuff thrown away I got 5 or so tackle boxes full of stuff that was thrown away.. 👍👍Stay safe and Keep’em coming 👍👍👍

One of my favorite combos I own is a old shimano spinning rod and reel combo I bought for $15 at a farmers market about 6 years ago and caught from grass carp to bass on it.

One of my favorite rod n reel came from a flee market in SC on a road trip. Still use it today after 20 years. Best 12 bucks I ever spent.

Those shoal bass are the coolest looking fish ever. Good stuff man!

I love used vintage tackle! I usually find 75% of my lures in the rocks or i snag them. And theyre usually the type of lure you need for that particular spot too. I went snorkeling around a fishing pier one time and made out like a total bandit! Sometimes i replace the hooks but they're fine a lot of the time. Just a soak in soapy water cleans em up. Ill lose a lure then find 3 more same day. Its like a global lure sharing system.

Yo that ambassador is so cool! Thats basically all my pops and i use. Learned to cast a baitcasting reel when i was about 6 years old and my ole zebco 33 busted in the middle of the pond

torpedo is one of my favorite bass lures. I get a bass all the time especially if you use different color torpedo's. they hit hard on those.

Pflueger fly reel was my first one my dad had one too. I think I paid like $100 for a combo on sale with a rod tube at a shop in Denver when I lived there. Kinda gave up on using a fly rod after some dummy was running and stopped right behind me and the line wrapped around.here. After that I only used one in a boat.

Those old Ambassadors were super nice reels for the time. They kind of fell behind with their baitcasters when the newer technology came out.

Great video. I have the eel in my tackle box and I finally retired my Berkley Light reel (no parts available). I had the reel set up with a light action rod and it would throw a 1/16 spinner bait a fair ways. Probably caught several hundred fish on it over the years. You need to do an ugly lure contest. Have your subscribers send you some or buy some and then have a fish off with them. If you do, let me know I have some really strange lures!

This is why I love local channels the booth under the shelter is where I bought my first open face combo several years ago it was nothing special just a little Zebco Genesis I don't think that was the same guy though since it looked like most of his stuff was older still cool to see though

I let a younger fella try using my Shimano Bantam 10xsg baitcast and he couldn't figure out how to cast it. It has a push lever on the upper side of the reel. I have to admit that it was funny watching him trying to figure it out. Great video Smalls.

I have about 15 ugly stik rods I've picked up at flea markets and even more reels.Any food you buy you should check the sell buy date.The top water lures are good for snakeheads.Thanks for the video

Pretty sure that bait casting rod/reel combo came from the early 80's. My dad still has his with the tip broke off from a door in the milk shed. I've boughten him like five combos throughout the years and thirty years of lures to make up for it.
