Funny how bots in game suck. But bots in the real world are great. Great for those using them. But its not so great for those that don't. In the real world, most people are unaware of how this effects them.
I just want to clarify because I see people misuse that term a lot, this is not RMT. An RMT is I pay you real world dollars and you pay me roubles. Buying an alt and using it to eek out profits on stuff like nade cases is botting. I think you're title is still acurate tho. RMTers should watch out because if they're using bots to farm roubles to make real money, they're going to have to add a lot more bans to their operating costs lol.

True, I am speculating that the only reason to do this would be to sell the account or give away gear in game for RMT.

Most likely because they haven't died. One of them has 88% survival rate but 2 run throughs.
why ban bots? theyre making us money arent they?

why not straight up detect and market ban all the accounts that are stuck on level 15 and just buy and sell all day?

If it is possible BSG should do it. I don't know if they have the resources to do that or not. There must be many other ways of detecting them. Matt and I working on other strats to find them.

I mean, if they are legit only playing the market with no bots, then they aren't breaking the terms of service. If BSG doesn't want to risk running into a Class Action Lawsuit, they can't ban accounts like these without reasonable evidence. I agree these accounts should be banned, but just thought I would play the devil's advocate for why they likely haven't taken action against accounts like these.
