when I was younger my house used to be infested with flea and you couldn't walk around the house without 20 fleas on you. I remember sprinting through the house just to get to my bed or the kitchen trying to not let fleas on me. we had to bomb (flea bomb) the house like 10 times to finally get rid of them

I had to get rid of fleas in a place I'd moved into. It had carpet. I ripped out the carpet, mixed a bucket of hot water, Dawn dishwashing liquid and about 1/5 of a bottle of tea tree oil and with a mop put it all over the wood floors underneath the carpet. I actually put the solution on my legs to kill the ones trying to escape and eat me. Worked incredible.

@@JourneeRocchi i’m guessing because of the blood flow around the ankles is where a lot of blood is because your body core is up meaning there has to be loads of blood to go down and circulate your legs and also their parasites and pricks

Went to take possession of an apartment after driving halfway across the country for college. When the door opened the fleas jumping in the sunlight was like rain splashing. Went back to sleeping in the uhaul until we found a clean house. The slumlord kept our deposit but we kept our blood. Nasty.

Ugh, I've dealt with a TERRIBLE flea infestation before. I actually had to move out temporarily and it took FOUR treatments for the pest control company over about a month before I was able to move back in. Seeing those fleas gives me the heeby jeebies

imagine not having the money and my mom just sold her house and cannot risk it, I don't know what to do bed bugs are easier to treat. I live in Detroit and rescued a dog. My apartment has it all sadly its a city thing , personally I just think the city has worse hygiene. Apartments in the suburbs never had this, roaches and bed bugs in the walls, and a stray yorkie I had to save has tons of fleas, likely someone dumped it, almost got my face blown off looking out my window by some racist, Big cities suck and Detroit is not even close to the worst anymore for safety. im moving asap. All the rich democrats have NO IDEA.

Salt works very well as a natural alternative to combat flea infestations. You can pour salt 🧂 on carpet and wait a few days then vacuum it. It dries out and kills the larvae once they hatch. You can also place a bowl containing a solution of water and dish soap 🫧 under a lamp without a shade at night. The fleas will jump towards the light in the darkness and land in the bowl. Hope this helps!

I just went into one of my renthouse that has been being professionally sprayed for 3 weeks now and literally caught 1000s of flees It must have been like an acid trip when I looked down and seen all the flees on me literally waves of them running up my pants legs I didnt even go into the carpeted rooms I went into the living and dinning area which are hardwood and walked out and bam thousands literally thousands not exaggerating the renters who moved out had 5 dogs and apparently never treated them. This is the third time I entered the home since its been vacant the first time got flees I did a full walk through I had dozens of adult sized fleas had to go home strip down all that the 2nd time after the spraying had begun not a sign of fleas this time the third time and third week thousands of tiny baby fleas worse than the first time I went in. Idk what to do burn the house down? It has roaches out the ass too the worst ive seen and most my rent homes get roaches but this one was the worst ive ever seen for roaches it also has termites and probably has headlice and everything else too I have to spend months of treating the property before I can begin to start getting it fixed up for the next renters truly unbelievable I'd sue them but they have no money. Also because of them im now making a mandatory policy that the professional bug people will spray every month at all my properties and the rent will be increased $35 at all my properties to pay for the sprayers. You trashy people you dont just harm yourself with your filth you harm everyone nobody should live like that wtf are you barbarians? Wild animals? Fuck!

I wouldn't call that an infestation. More like a potential infestation especially if apartment is empty. His boot would be covered in fleas if there is already an infestation. Wondercide is great for flea control and is pet friendly

I wash bedding with a bit of peppermint oil added to the water. Can also use a hankerchief soaked in peppermint oil for the cat or dog collar. Never had a problem with fleas.

I remember as a kid, we moved into an apartment for a few months while we were having a house built. The apartment was FULL of fleas. It was horrible trying to get rid of them. We had no pets at all. Us kids would wake up covered in flea bites. I remember the traps. And we had to have ant traps in the cupboards and in my dresser. Ants were all over that apartment. They liked the food cupboard and my underwear drawer. No, I had no food in my dresser. Why would I? We also had a few crickets. They died from the flea traps (they liked them). And the freezer smelled like dead fish. It was a horrible experience.

Diatomaceous earth outside your home and use food grade one inside your home. Spray bottle from dollar store Lavender oil, baking soda , Neem oil, spring water. Spray around house and on your hair and clothes.

Also homemade flea traps work well if furniture is already out. Bright hot lightbulb in a lamp as low to ground as possible, no shade, with multiple saucers of soapy (dawn dish soap) water placed around the light flea jump towards the heat and die in the water, I’ve caught multiple hundreds with this method at a customers House.

Doing my own pest control for fleas…I got conquer & precor IGR concentrate to mix. I already treated my yard & basement with permetherine because I wasn’t spraying that crap in the rest of my house. Do you think this is a good combo?

Thought we got rid of them one time, went on a ten day vacation and came back to fleas all over the house! We had vacuumed everyday leading upto the vacation, bombing the house every time we went out. All it takes is one small little egg, one patch of carpet you missed while vacuuming, and they will absolutely take over

Put a water on a water scooper. Then put powder detergent. Stir. Then put the fleas there to die. This works. Aside from that get a flea comb. Comb your pet. Put the flea in that water scooper to die. Then for dogs, bath him. Then put front line on his back monthly.

A couple days ago I was taking a bit of fleas off of my cat, and when I grabbed one it stayed on my finger and when it jumped away I felt its legs pushing off, and it wasn’t me thinking I was feeling something I legit felt it jump off of my finger like something flicked me

I had a flea infestation after my cat died, the o ly thing that worked to get rid of them was leaving lit tealight candles in the floor at night, wake up with 20 to 50 fleas in each candle, for about a week, never had them after that,. Also flea bites fucking suck
