What is it?
FlaxTrax is a fully-automated tracking and solving add-on written in python. Designed to eliminate the tedious tasks associated with tracking and solving, it automatically adds trackers, adjusts motion tracking settings, processes the entire footage, resolves the tracked footage, removes poor trackers, applies filters, and takes multiple steps to achieve your desired solve error.

How do you use it?
1. Set the pattern size and search size for the trackers. Recommended values are 60 for pattern size and 130 for search size, but these may vary based on your footage.
2. Specify a reasonably accurate focal length (within ±15).
3. Copy and paste the name of your sequence to inform the add-on which image sequence you wish to track.
4. Determine your desired target solve error.
5. Enable the "Auto Focal Length" to automatically find the correct focal length.
6. Finally, click on the 'Automatically Track Footage' button.
In summary:
Set pattern & search size, define focal length, input image sequence name, set target solve error, enable "Auto Focal Length", and press autotrack!

bought the addon, can't wait to test it out
I wanna buy it in this week, but what about people? Will people or other objects not affect the tracking??? And can it also help for object tracking?
can you add functions like in the GeoTracker addon..?
How would you have pursued a better solve error in your example if you wanted something better than 0.26?

You simply put the maximum solve error to 0.26 px and the addon will process for a longer period of time and you will then receive a solve error lower than 0.26 px.
Hello will it still work with people moving in a scene for instance a footage shot in a city?

It depends on how much screen space the moving people occupy. If it's only a small part, then it might work, but I would recommend trying to avoid external moving objects as much as possible.
Hi! Can I export tracking to houdini with camera and so on?

Everything you can usually do with a camera-tracked scene in Blender, you can do with the addon. When the addon finishes processing, it will create a perfectly tracked camera and tracking points. Then, you can export it as usual to other programs like Houdini, so it should not be a problem.
how do you know how much distance to apply on the parameters?

If you are unsure just use the recommended settings button.
What is pattern size mate?

It is the regular pattern size of the trackers (the image size the tracker is looking for in each frame). I highly suggest using the recommended settings button and not changing those settings.

it just keeps giving me an error please enter the name of the clip/ enter the correct name of the clip i've put every name i can think of in the box nothing works

Hello, make sure that you copy and paste the correct name of you image sequence shown in the center of your screen. For example “0001.png”.

@@axelflax but see blender doesn’t care about the name and names it based on the 1st image you click on not the 1st image in the sequence it took me 2 hours to figure out I have to make sure it selected the “0001” 1st image because it won’t work if blender names it “0087”

@@evilkoolade but when you import the image sequence make sure that you sort the sequence by name in the import window that pops up.
i'm wait at 1 hour but it is not working just error cpu - i7 7700k gpu - rtx 3060

Make sure you click on the recommended settings button, and have activated the find focal length feature. Make sure that your sequence length matches your footage length. For more tips read the documentation on Blendermarket or contact me on Blendermarket.
