She had pretty much forgotten about the cat completely until she heard it Mjau, and if she didn't want it to be alone, then why did she stop carrying the crate after awhile? Even if not wanting the cat to be alone is the reason for why she decided to take it with her, that is still stupid, since it's slowing her down and she can't afford to waste a second if she wants to be able to reach her friends in time. She shouldn't put the well-being of her cat before the safety of her friends. I think the reason for why she takes it with her is that she knows that she won't be coming back to the bridge again, and the escape shuttle is located down at least 1 floor from the bridge, but that's still stupid of her, since she can't afford to waste time. I estimated that the time lost from her carrying the cat-crate is not enough for her have been able to save them if hadn't been doing that, so her carrying it doesn't affect anything plot-wise, it's just a stupid decision that she makes, which hurts her character a tiny little bit, since she has been shown to be very smart up until this point. I still consider this a nitpick, though.
