@@iguillo Mulkey is looking up and chasing Dawn Staley. Gamecock women will win another NC this year and restocking for the future. I expect LSU to start having good teams but unfortunately they are in the same league as South Carolina so they won't be seeing championships any time soon.

That #1 ranking was before we picked up the #5 player and we are in the final 3 of the #1 player Juju Watkins so we may end up #1. Dawn Staley has been stacking top ranked class after topped rank class. Every scholarship player on our team is a former McDonald's All-american. LSU has a way to go to be equal to the most dominant college wbb team...Your Defending National Champion and current#1 ranked South Carolina Gamecocks

@@jeffhall5240 bruh, just stop. I follow the women's game closely. I know what talent SC has. LSU hardly has "a way to go", before being on the same level as SC. In fact, I'd venture to say within the next two seasons, they'll be in the final four. All one needs to do is look at LSU's current roster (which is also filled with McDonald's AAs) to see what is coming. This year's team will need time to gel, but if they do, they could very well find themselves in the final four this season, considering they have one of the greatest women's coaches of all time. Also, SC is A dominant women's program, but not THE dominant program. They're on the same level as UConn, Stanford, and Baylor before coach Mulkey left. In fact, Mulkey just won a championship in 2019 at Baylor. So, we know what's gonna happen now that she's at an institution with much more resources and also has great tradition and a rabid fan base. Once Aaliyah Boston is gone, I suspect LSU will win the SEC and the NCAA, because that'll be just about the time they should be peaking...........................................and we haven't even mentioned they have the #1 HS player in the nation coming in next season (Mikayla Williams), and the #1 post player (Aaliyah Del Rosario). Oh, these next few years are gonna be fun!

@@iguillo See here is the difference. L s u is hoping to make the final four where at South Carolina that is a given and a letdown if that's as far as we go. If you actually do follow wbb closely than you would know that Boston isn't al we have. Our backups would be your starters. Also Juju Watkins is better than Williams and is ESPN'S #1 player not Williams.
