Thank you Heather. I never thought to use my oval disc cutter to cut out ring bands. I've never hammered on the Arbor press. Great tips.

You have a lot more patience than me when it comes to those cheap a** disc cutters-I saw a time when I wanted to throw it out into the yard! haha with the metal still in it. I actually had to use my hydraulic press to get the disc to come through. One vid said you have to put a piece of metal equal thickness on the other side so I tried that and it worked a little better. My next purchase is going to be a Pepe. Thanks for the idea with the delron balls. Will look for them.

Thank you so much Cynthia for your comment and yes, you are correct, with the adjustable disc cutters with center spring and the Allen wrench it is best to put a piece of metal equal thickness on the opposite side to keep the unit level when cutting so it will not distort the unit and for a much better cleaner cut. Your correct again that you get what you pay for and for those starting out and wanting to try the cutters without the major price point it gives them an opportunity while they save up for a good unit for sure :) I wish that Pepe offered a better variety of styles at a better price :(
