For the Easter eggs, there are 2 challenges that are practically Easter eggs that give you a vc for kiriko and sojourn. For the first, there is a small door upstairs in the tavern that you can interact with. Once you've interacted with it 4 times, it will make a loud noise and the challenge will complete. As for the other, the spawn in eichenwalde is now a blocked off room in addlesbrunde. A door in the waterfilled area will slightly lift up after you defeat the summoner. Crouch under the door to get in, and you'll get the challenge done. There's also a challenge for spotting the banshee all 7 times whilst you're searching for the key. The best strategy for that one is to have your team split up.

There's also the photobomb one, which is to stand behind where Sombra spawns and emote during her cutscene. Best strat there is to Sojourn dash up there, though Ashe can also do it (as well as Kiriko if one of the aforementioned jumps up)

@@DatMageDoe You don't actually have to get up behind Sombra for that challenge, you can get it if you're down the bottom as well - just as long as you're in the cutscene You can also unlock another challenge by crouching next to the lantern in the room behind where the Unstoppable Ghost spawns

If this is just the start of the pve I gotta admit I’m kind of excited for next year once the real pve starts it was a lot of fun.

My favorite part about this new event is that it really feels like a haunted house. The back and forth layout of the story that maximizes a majority of the map and includes extra locations custom made for the story. The way the Sigma chases you through the back hallways like an actor that you can't touch, but they can touch you. The various jump scares. Having been through a more premium haunted house about a week ago, the resemblance in the feeling this map has, and the feeling the actual haunted house gave me, are incredibly similar. No other video game has quite matched the vibe as well as I feel this event has.

My favorite Premium Haunted "House" is still the PennHurst Haunted Asylum. Legit: Real Asylum that was abandoned, turned into a haunted house in the middle of PA. It's a trip. They even take you into a "Ghost Hunt" which is cheesy but, you know, for $5 bucks it's fine. Tons of pictures of cool graffiti and abandoned hospital rooms.

The jump scares with moria are a nice touch. They can do some crazy stuff when the actual story mode dropsn

I love how people are having genuine fun exploring this mode on a blind run as a group. With so much of Overwatch being an intense PVP grind against other human players, it's really refreshing to see high skill players just having a laugh as they discover new Overwatch content like this.

People really thought there was no new content to play becusse of reddit. If this is what the pve will be like at a base level I'm gonna enjoy it a lot.

Seriously I haven't seen a lot of people praise this PvE mode. Everyone is complaining about the skins. Don't get me wrong they should be complained about but come on, praise the good a little. Makes me hyped for PvE in the future.

Honestly? Don't buy them. Blizz is going to see the prices and also face some regulatory backlash for them (In plenty of countries what they did with the Kirko Bundle is legit illegal. Australia specifically I know it's illegal) - Prices will only come down if they don't make cash. Don't buy: Simple as that.

Seeing these guys not just blow through hard makes me feel a bit better about my performance with randos. Got through it yesterday with relative ease but only after I happened to match with a competent healer. First two tries on hard had someone instalock healer and then not heal resulting in people quiting.

Yeah I don't understand that mentality. I got a player who refused to heal too. It seems these people get mad when they are asked to heal. Thus they try to punish the other players by not healing...which is stupid in a coop' game mode

I really hope you guys do a lot of this sort of thing when the PvE campaign comes out... I actually enjoyed watching this more than watching your PvP stuff... really want to see you guys tackle these things on the hardest difficulty.

I’m glad they are having fun, but god am I glad I wasn’t in a vc the first time I did this and had the music up with headphones. The dialogue is so good and they are just talking over it.

Yeah I was hoping they would react to the dialogue more or at least notice it. They just blew through the whole thing and didn't even notice most of the coolest parts.

Loved watching your playthroughs, especially seeing that it was truly challenging. Played with my 2 friends and had a blast, glad to see you guys enjoying it. Your legendary ones are hilarious watching you guys get taken down by Echo, DPS moira and bastion nuking people. So much fun

I love the new event PvE mission. It's super fun, creative and has nice little secrets and easter eggs scattered around. I love the new event challenges, for example the Kiriko Tarot Reading voice line. It has multiple voice lines for 1 single slot. Each time you use it, it plays a different voice line depending on whatever random Tarot Card is chosen. My only problem is the price of the new skins. There is what, 2? And they are like £40 if you want both of them. The prices and shop is really letting Overwatch 2 down. An incredible free event would have been perfect if the prices weren't so bad.

If that's the one you're referring to, I haven't seen it in the Store so I just assumed it was a Halloween Skin when she showed up as a Featured Hero. If that is the one you were referring to, I hope it comes back to the Store because I kinda want that Skin.

The gargoyles are really the hardest part of it. It’s nearly impossible with an uncoordinated team

This event makes me look forward for the PvE content to come out. So much fun doing this with friends.

That's the spirit! Enjoying the scenery, being adventurous, curious and letting emotions flow! ... so much nicer than my first games where people who already know what to do running and spoiling everything, and even known friends mostly getting frustrated instead of enjoying the challenge. ;_;

I just love Flats reaction when first Echo appears :-D :-D my man I wish I have a friends to play with, at least watching you guys.

This is the plan • reconstruct broken onmics • look for distractions • lure the banshee • create puppet • carve gargoyles • convince the countess • wake up the ghost • revive the summoner • search for the death • get away from the witch • deal with the guards • clear the place • capture the lord • get revenge

With all the skins from past years they incorporated into this I can’t wait for the years to come and new stories they can produce. A skin I can think of is doomfists swamp creature skin they can use that one effectively.

I love the PvE. It is actually really fun and a really good intro to what's to come with the proper campaign, it's just so sad it's overshadowed by the crazy shop prices ;^;

Even better, if they make a whole mini storyline next year, extend the Halloween event by another week and have 3 dungeon crawler styled story modes to expand the Overwatch Halloween universe!

That spot with Sojurn is really easy to get the pointless play. I did it twice there last night.

i like that they made expert actually difficult. as someone who could breeze through even legendary in archives, the fact that ive died countless times and even had an entire team wipe on expert makes me nervous to try legendary...but also happy theres an actual challenge now.

When I saw this come out and after playing it myself. I went straight to the leaderboard and I just see Emongg, Seagull, KarQ and you Flats being already ontop of the leaderboard when finishing my own game. I forgot to watch this video straight after I finished playing, I was tired after the game and seeing you on the leaderboard, now I got this in my recommended so ima go watch this and see how you guys got to the top of the leaderboard in this new story mode, how you react to the new story mode, how many fails/wins you had to get to the top, and see if any of ya got really scared. 👍 😂

Hey Flats, new viewer here, just got into watching a bunch of overwatch content with the release of overwatch 2 and I've been binging all of the recent videos of a couple different creators, yourself included. I wanted to say that your content is pretty refreshing compared to other OW2 youtubers, super for example, since you're so much more positive. a lot of the others are pretty toxic and get tilted way too easily, and its nice to get a break from the constant negative vibes with one of your videos! (not that their content is bad, its fun to watch but it gets tiring sometimes.)

His name is Adler btw. Balderich von Adler (which is why it is called Adlersbrunn. Basically, the city can be called "Adler's Well/Fountain).

wow this new mode is so cool!

i literally watched this to find out if I'm the only one or if blizzard needs to reassess the lighting. i was flying blind in a majority of the map where things get dark, so it does seem like they could of created this with better lighting, and I'm not knocking the spooky dark vibes but i think we all would enjoy not having to adjust brightness/gamma/contrast settings outside of ow just to enjoy this very neat pve mission. outside of not seeing very well i enjoyed the layout on concept. i would like to note that this reminded me on how irrelevant junker queens shot gun is its a shot gun, why the hell does it look like it does about as much damage as a torb hammer if not less

This felt even more like a TTRPG session than regular Junkestein, except this time the DM had been reading about horror campaigns and how to build dungeons.

This is almost exactly the kind of thing that I wish for in the upcoming PvE mode, overall reminds me of Shadows of Evil. But I really wish they'd take a more subtle approach to progression like Call of Duty does, maybe not AS subtle, I just really hate the "blow up door with Ashe dynamite" text box solution, as if the players were too dumb to figure things out on their own. Just put "interact to take dynamite" on an inconspicuous box laying around and players will put two and two together. If they really are too stupid for that they can still look it up online. Optimally they'd just copy and paste the CoD Zombies formula in some way to be honest.

Especially considering the difficulty seems to scale surprisingly well.

I feel like this game has a lot of potential for end-game pve content, like raids in Destiny 2.

Wow they really put Rated T for Teen Verruckt in Overwatch 2

There were a few things I enjoyed about this mission, but after doing it multiple times for some of the challenges, I have no desire to touch it again. With all the close quarters fights, Ashe feels like a bad choice. And whose goddamn idea was it to have you run from an invincible enemy and fill the hallways with zomnics that explode at the slightest touch? The final fight is even worse. You'll be chasing after Sombra or running from Sigma, and zomnics will just spawn right in front of you before you even have time to react. Yeah, real fun gameplay right there.

I enjoy playing the archive missions more tbh, after a day it’s already getting repetitive. I can’t see anyone playing through this more than a couple times without getting bored. Nothing game changing
