Its a good idea to varnisch your tape with a bonefolder before you try to take the plastic off 😉

Don’t be so hard on yourself Michelle! You are doing a great job teaching us these fun things! And to be honest I didn’t really mind the quality of the other video..sure it was a bit darker but hey we should be happy you even upload! So don’t beat yourself up over bad quality or taking time with tape! We love your vids anyway!

i hated that red tape so bad!!! u need score tape! its so much better! so much easier! I love all of your mini albums and your cute projects. Your instructions are so clear and easy. Better than any I’ve ever seen. Thanks so much for your creativity and your sharing. ❤️

This is a really cute album. I've made many of your projects and love them. A tip for removing the backing on your double sided tape is to burnish it well with your bone folder. The lift it from the center and, voila. 😊

I love these quick flipbooks/mini albums. They are so cute to hold small photos and easy to mail. We can decorate them up as much as we want! I've got one started already.. it's made.. just need to add the pretties! I never get tired of them.

Red line tape is my favorite one. Just take your bone folder burnish it down good and firm. Tape liner will come up in a breeze. (Your thumb nail works to.) 🥂 cheers

I was going to recommend the red line tape too. It's my favorite. As Patti said just burnish it and peel off the red strip with your fingernail.

Try using your bone folder to press the red line tape down first before lifting it up. See if that works. I really like the mini album regardless of the tape issue. I will be making this soon. TFS

If you rub your tape down well before taking the backing off, it helps it stick more firmly to your project and also helps the backing to release more easily. 😊 Hope that helps!

Great tutorial. I usually burnish the red tape and then remove the red film. It's sometimes hard for me to get it off. Love your album. Thanks for sharing and have a great day.

Definitely going to try this! By the way, with my redline tape I have to kind of rub it with my finger into the paper a bit before I try peeling it off!

Very sweet.. thanks for sharing.. the redline tap need to be burnished Really well so it bonds with the paper before you peel off the red backing ..I think you didn't run it down hard enough before trying to peel it. But it was a really cute little album flip

Loved the tutorial! With that redline tape you really have to burnish it down well before peeling off the plastic. I only use Scor tape....it’s the best! Give it a try! Cute, cute. I’m definitely going to make this for Valentines’ Day ♥️

Love the album Michelle. With the double sided tape I find that the backing always comes off easier if you rub the tape with a bone folder. That will help it stick and the backing should come off without so much trouble.

Maybe try pressing down with your finger or bone folder really firmly on the redline before pulling off to separate.

That is a cute and easy way to make an album. Love that tiny bow. Is that made with a die? I love bow dies, have several, but can we ever really have too many?? LOL. For those tiny things that are hard to glue, I bought the small sticker maker. (From Hobby Lobby). You put the item into it, roll and it comes out with adhesive on the back. It's really cost effective if you buy it with a coupon, and same for the refills. Saves a lot of frustration with gluing narrow/tiny items.

As I watched your struggle with there red line tape I noticed you never burnished the tape to the paper before you take up the protective film… that was the instructions I was given by a shop owner when I purchased score tape for making junk journals and mini albums. It works great with every brand I’ve used.
