i’m hoping they keep up these fights in the finale.

Something I really appreciate about these CGI fight scenes is how the lighting is done on the speedforce trails. The further they are from a speedster the dimmer they become. The light is actually dissipating with time.

The one issue these speedster battles always have for me is that you never see it from the civilians perspective so you never really feel the intensity of how fast they move as a reference. All they’d need is one shot inside a car of two lighting bolts going past.

My biggest issue with this scene and pretty much every other fight scene is that Barry never throws any punches. If you haven’t seen the cutscene of The Flash vs Reverse Flash from injustice 2, you should watch it. I’m holding onto the hope that with all the speedsters appearing in the finale, that there will be a fight with at least a few punches, and not just them throwing lightning and running away

Dude this part of the episode made me feel so much hype that I haven’t felt since season 3. Like the cgi actually wasn’t that bad, negative Nora vs Barry with nighttime aesthetic that I wish they used in previous seasons (I know they used nighttime before but I wish it was like the one in this episode, it’s night but in blue with eerie vibe.) straight up this is my type of vibe and when I saw it, it just made me feel more happier and more excited. Then I saw the episode 13 finale trailer and I jumped like a group of 13 year old girls who get excited for anything. I’m sooooo excited for the next episode, but also sad knowing it will be the last and there will be no more 8:00pm Wednesday’s. Only one remaining now is superman and Louis. No more other cw shows😢 ty to all the actors in the arrowverse for making my teenage life happy and enjoyable. The times I would look forward for watching all the tv series after school will always be memorable to me.

Too bad the fight was quite literally the same as any other mid fight eric Wallace directed. Barry and the speedster run off in the street throwing lightning and barry and the other speedster stops, barry tries to talk them out of it, works 50% other time he gets bitch slapped then some retarded ass character like cecile in this episode stops the big bad. The showrunner is so godamn lazy. It’s so much easier to have characters shoot at each other, rather than have them do a hand to hand brawl. Tell me. In the past 3 seasons. So season 7,8, and 9, when did they have a speedster fight scene where they actually punched each other? And I mean speedster fight scene like this. Where they are running around the city or somethin. Let me answer for you. There hasn’t been a single punch in one of these fight scenes. The last one we saw was the Godspeed fight scene in season 6 episode 18.

I am not the biggest fan of Cecile’s but I give credit where credit is due. She does look good in that suit.

The CGI in the fight scenes were surprisingly good.

Barry getting thrown through an entire block and then falling down like five stories onto a bus stop made me laugh. That looked like it hurt. I’m also really glad that they gave a real reason for Barry not being able to fight back, i.e getting thrown through an entire building, and i thought Cecile was pretty cool in this episode :D

Honestly he should be able to tank A LOT more damage. Barry is in the same level of power as Kryptonians (Despiro is actually stronger than a Kryptonian like Kara or Clark and Barry was physically overpowering him) so he should be getting thrown through hills. It's good they're using more budget to do more damage though
