Okay I love Tom as RF but seeing Matt back again was cool, having "Tom" RF take over his body woud have made much more sense and have Matt play him than have his whole body change. Then down the line have the big reveal as Matt to Tom happen would have been better. Also damn that scream from Matt as his face is ripped off was so damn good. Oh and Iris getting hit by Speed Force lightning, even if she's not actually dead...that had to hurt....like a lot.

So if i'm not mistaken. Thawne make a deal with negative forces and brough back matt thawne from legends where he died, so it wasn't time wraith who save matt but negative deon. And then negative deon put negative tachion to iris and when iris died, the negative tachion enter matt thawne making tom thawne to being ressurected and have the negative speedforce again

This seems like a thing that Zoom would do (killing their time-remnants). In fact, this seems to connect to the many times that Zoom killed his time-remnants ("Jay Garrick", himself as Zoom, etc).

what should've happened is that good thanes lightning starts sparking dark lighting and turning red then he phases his whole body out of his time remnant then the time remnant erases and thawne says "thanks for the resurrection, flash" not the face tearing part bc now meena is traumatized about it!

This is one of the rare times flash doesn’t seem to have an overly emotional response to the death of his wife.

I love the reverse flash ambiance of the like slowed phasing sound or however youd describe it, it's amazing. I also ran out of time on my now tv membership before I got this far so I have no idea wtf the context is for this

Thawne is truly one of the villians of all time

Probably could never really change it back. Out of universe reason was it was cheaper to keep that actor over the other. And they made him rip off his face to show the evil thawne coming back and because it looked cool.

Time Reset, Thawne was a human paradox but for the timeline he needs to be alive, when iris dies causes a Paradox so the time fullfill the void with thawnes life, however i can be wrong.

I just wish they made Neema act less cringe here, her character was doing decent till that, i blame the directors for that. would've preferred somethin more of too shocked and heartbroken to speak or react, she jus looks at the old eobards ripped face on the ground and shivers and trembles. as opposed to that cliche cringe scream. the directors could've made this season amazing but were clearly too lazy to refine it some more.

Tom RF in s1 was great, but after that it never felt the same, especially after crisis when he forces his deep voice. Personally I prefer Matt RF because I feel like he plays a more accurate RF
