I’ve used your recipe multiple times and it works without fail! My family absolutely loves it and it was extremely easy for me the first time I made it. Also the first time I made this recipe was the first time I’ve ever made flan and it worked great I will only ever use this recipe!

OMG! Just made this flan!! It is insanely good!!!!! I used organic cane sugar (for my caramel topping), and it was so delicious!!!!!! Highly recommend. P.S my flan was wobbly, and I was worried but after cooling it for 5 hours, it was soft, creamy and perfect!!!

Can you make a video of you doubling the recipe please? This is the best recipe I’ve found!
What a wonderful looking flan you made! So, I can make this myself, using a 9 inch pan, using the exact same measurements that you used to make your flan? You made it look so simple. I think I might try to make this tomorrow, wish me luck! Thanks for the demo and your wonderful recipe. BTW, I love your accent! Bless you friend!

Hola Alice :) You can certainly use the same measurements and ingredients for a 9 '' mold, although the flan will appear a bit thinner than that shown in the video. Delish! Buen provecho, and see you back soon. Blessings :)
I've made this recipe before and it came out great. I was wondering if i double the recipe, will it get too sweet?

Hey what can i use as a substitute for evaporated milk?
Hello, can I replace the 1/2 cup of milk with heavy cream?
Did you add any water to the sugar??? To make the caramel? Or just sugar only?

I am going to follow your recipe. Tomorrow, my flan pans arrive! I have one question: why does a flan pan - like the ones I have ordered - have a lid, with clips to hold the lid on? Yours has a lid, but you do not use it. Thank you foe wonderful video!

I will know tomorrow if the recipe worked. Sadly, it is impossible to order 9-inch flaneras. Everyone sells 7 inch! So, my flanera was very deep with the mix - and took almost two hours to cook - and I do not know if it cooked completely. I am letting cool. Then, into the refrigerator. I will know tomorrow morning.

Hello again... well I made this and it is delicious. I made it in small ramekins instead of a whole pan. My question for you is... it was not as custardy and I've had in past and... the carmel sugar stuck to the bottom of the dishes. Any suggestions for me to correct this?

Suggest you monitor cooking time frequently, and check level of doneness with a toothpick as shown in the video :) What time and temp did you use?

+Poulomi Saha After you cook and melt the sugar to a caramel color. you placed it in the pan you're going to use , then you put the milk mixture on top and put it in the oven in a bain marie bath to cook. I hope this helps.

If you’re talking about washing your pans and stirring spoons afterwards, just soak them in water overnight. Comes right off!

Hola :) Many thanks for reaching out. I suggest you please double check the proportions and volumes of ingredients, and that you test with a toothpick for consistency as shown at 03:55. Hi Angie. Thanks so much for your visit! You are right; 3/4 cup evaporated milk, but the accurate measurement of total regular milk is 1/2 cup (the 1/4 + extra). I am pretty sure this will come out delish. Please enjoy, and let me know how else I can help.

Transferring the carmel to a separate pan did not work well at all. It hardens way too fast. Getting a flan pan is necessary.

Poulomi Saha Hola! Many thanks for reaching out. Of course! After heating the sugar and he caramel is formed in the flan mold, allow to cool to prevent mixing when the flan mix prepared in the blender is poured. Is this helpful?
