Flamework Demonstration - How I Make a 13mm Glass Bead
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
This is a close up view over my shoulder as I flamework. You can see my process from start to finish with very little editing as I form a round bead and decorate it with tiny dots. I filmed this demonstration at my glass bench where I work every day so you can get a real feel from inside my studio.
I am using Effetre COE 104 glass
Torch: GTT Lynx

You are so welcome! I appreciate you following what I do 💕
I’ve been following you and your work since I started making beads 15 years ago. Thank you for being so open in sharing your work. When I first started making beads I was thoroughly unimpressed with dots. I thought they were simple. How wrong I was! They still challenge me to this day!

Many thanks for following what I do! Dots are both simple and complex! 😆🔥
🤩 wow it was so worth the wait . I had no idea you sat so low to the torch but the benefits are there to see. You really are Queen Dottie and on such a small bead. I found your technique and the music incredibly inspiring & relaxing. Well done my lovely xx

Thank you Jo! I sit low so I will have a straight spine while working. This helps me feel comfortable for many hours at the torch. p.s. My son composed the music! 🎶
Wwwwwwooooooooowwwwwwwwwwww! Thank you so much for posting the process! No wonder I love the beads, and now I understand how much I love the process and why I value what you do soooo much!!!!! That was a great video!

Thank you 🙏 very much! I’m so glad you made this video. I now understand how much planning, preparation, and measuring goes into it as well as how patient you are and how much patience I should have with myself. Truly grateful. I am really excited to go back to the torch as soon as I can. 🥰

Hello Kristina, I've been watching you now just about two weeks. I'm taking bead glass making classes at art school and loving it. However I know practice makes perfect. You're truly the dot queen😁.

Hi Kristina. My dot bead exploration end about 2003. I was fun. Taught me a lot. Focus and attention. Disaplined my mind.
Kristina! You inspire me to new experiments in lampwork technique. Thank you!

I saw your channel pop up in my recommended and subscribed immediately. Wonderful video, thank you for sharing. I have the exact same torch (GTT Lynx), and had to pack all my stuff away a few years ago until I can be in a place where I can set up a studio again. I miss it a lot! Been inspired by your work for a long time. 💚

Wonderful video, thanks so much for sharing :)
I am reminded why I work slow and cool when I watch you ,making beads. You were my very first teacher (In a mill in NH, you were pregnant with your first child) and I was so intimidated! All these years later I still work that way and my love for glass has only grown. Thank you for all the beauty and good habits.
