Yes I always dream of going there to Spain even though I was born in NewYork City But because my great grandparents came from Spain and my grandparents settled in Puerto Rico from my father side of the family! Not all Puerto Rican come from Spain .. but I was told my grandfather parents came from Italy and Spain! I have a daughter who’s fathers mother my ex mother in law RIP ! She danced flamingo when she was young she married 2 times and she came from those times and she was a great flamingo dancer ! RIP Paula I loved her like my mom even though she wasn’t my mother in law for many many years! I was close to her and her daughters and she passed a few years ago here in NewYork City! I was watching the Hispanic Awards. Seen a performance of flamingo even though they started with singing English and was dancing flamingo but nothing like this performance this is the real flamingo dancer ! Bravo I really need take a trip to Spain lol ! It’s been one of my fantasies to go to Spain and Italy !!

I love Spain, every part of it and every street and corner...as for their art, music, and dance....compelling and stems from passion and rich culture. I was lucky that I visited the country, soooo lucky.

I didn't see these particular artists, but this past October (2023), I also saw a flamenco performance in the Plaza de Espana, Seville. Thanks for posting. Brought back some nice memories for me from my trip to Spain. Cheers, Will.

Flamenco is a fusion of different cultures including the sephardic culture. Maybe that's why you like it.

@@AlexGarcia-us9yg when I was in the first time in Toledo I felt that I was there once..ו was born in Bulgaria..when I was one year old we came to Israel. I do not feel Bulgarian as much I feel Spanish ,My temperament and my genetic historical memory is stronger than where I was born and lived.

@@user-cx7nh8sb1i Doesn't sephardic mean spanish in hebraic? I saw a few documentaries about sephardic which came to Spain for a visit and they all had this nostalgia especially for Toledo. This was your home before your ancestors were forced to leave. It took us a long time to recognize how wrong this was. Spanish troops had to go to Morroco to rediscover that there are spanish jews. The sephardic went to the spanish soldiers and talked in spanish to them. They were impressed that after such a long time the sephardic still maintained the spanish language. So Primo de Riviera offered the spanish citizenship for the sephardic people. It's the least we can do for our jewish brothers and Sisters and a debt that we have towards you.

@@stellamarisvillarreal3712 El flamenco tiene en su interior la capacidad de transmitir todo tipo de sentimientos humanos: dolor, pena, alegría, soledad, duelo, frustraciones etc, para poder entender dicho sentimiento debes de apreciar no solo el canto ( como lo canta, si con tristeza, alegría, con ira etc, por que no siempre se canta con el mismo tono aunque muchos lo piensen así, mucho al ver que en el flamenco se grita, ya se piensa que es así siempre pero no, cuando "gritan" es por que quieren transmitir odio o ira sobre algo, pero tb muchas veces se cantan con un tono calmado y triste, es como en la opera tb se "grita" pero es algo mas que solo el hecho de gritar), por otro lado es muy importante entender la letra, ya que es fundamental el escucharla bien, por que ahi te da pistas que sentimiento quiere transmitir, por que la letra puede ser una critica a la sociedad, a la vida en general, o hacia algo personal y familiar, y en el baile, pues mas de lo mismo, no puedes ver un baile sin escuchar y apreciar antes la canción que van a utilizar para dicho baile, hay personas que con verlo lo comprende, hay otras que necesita mas tiempo para saber apreciar dicho arte. Y si, el flamenco es patrimonio de la humanidad

El concepto artístico gitano que se observa en este video es toda una constelación de ingredientes simbólicos de total articulación compleja. Música, canto, danza, expresiones corporales, hábitos culturales, máscaras de sentimientos y deseos. Un todo que expresa el presente y pasado de una cultura que se transforma y se adapta a las nuevas connotaciones de la influencia tecnológica y la comunicación. En fin, el retrato y, a la vez, movimiento de un grupo que decidió partir de una tierra lejana hacia nuevos horizontes inciertos. Saludos desde tierras mexicanas.

This is the embodiment of a past whose features are embodied in every corner of Andalusia and its alleys that speak clearly of the Alhambra, the Mosque of Cordoba and the silo of Seville, we were there but we are still there and we will not be erased, our traces indicate us.

Gypsies are the exponential wonderful people that have and inner soul that influences them to express their feelings through dance like Americans use the jazz idiom to express their feelings into creating a specific feeling or mood.Both the flamenco and jazz is like and like the heart and soul of the performers . In other words it’s the giving of their soul for the love of giving.

Perdon!!! Patrimonio de la humanidad ? Alguien me puede decir que trasmite su canto ? Porque nunca entiendo lo que dice, tampoco comprendo esta danza y lo que quiere decir 😢

@@stellamarisvillarreal3712 El flamenco tiene en su interior la capacidad de transmitir todo tipo de sentimientos humanos: dolor, pena, alegría, soledad, duelo, frustraciones etc, para poder entender dicho sentimiento debes de apreciar no solo el canto ( como lo canta, si con tristeza, alegría, con ira etc, por que no siempre se canta con el mismo tono aunque muchos lo piensen así, mucho al ver que en el flamenco se grita, ya se piensa que es así siempre pero no, cuando "gritan" es por que quieren transmitir odio o ira sobre algo, pero tb muchas veces se cantan con un tono calmado y triste, es como en la opera tb se "grita" pero es algo mas que solo el hecho de gritar), por otro lado es muy importante entender la letra, ya que es fundamental el escucharla bien, por que ahi te da pistas que sentimiento quiere transmitir, por que la letra puede ser una critica a la sociedad, a la vida en general, o hacia algo personal y familiar, y en el baile, pues mas de lo mismo, no puedes ver un baile sin escuchar y apreciar antes la canción que van a utilizar para dicho baile, hay personas que con verlo lo comprende, hay otras que necesita mas tiempo para saber apreciar dicho arte. Y si, el flamenco es patrimonio de la humanidad
