Seems like that principle could be used to detonate high explosives with a deflagrating low explosive under sufficient pressure to create a ddt.

Yea thats how some blasting caps work explosives like NHN (primary explosive) is just burning avay like flash powder but when comprest very stong it detonates with 7000 Meters per second this is very high speed but yeah it's just not that easy to detonat but when it does it will set off almost any secondery high explosive

@@nothin328 7,000 m/s is dynamite and tnt velocity. Twice ANFO. That would certainly trigger a secondary. If compression from the containment can produce that with flash powder I’d be mighty impressed. Can a 70/30 mix of pot perc and black aluminum flake in a strong container actually achieve such velocity? Or perhaps some pot chlor and sulphur to make it more reactive. I have my doubts, but your comment makes me hopeful that it’s true. I doubt someone would put a vid on YT showing somebody detonating ANFO with flash powder, but I’d be happy enough knowing somebody has actually done it. 👍

​@@flapjackson6077 well flash powder can onyl detonate more sensitiv charges like AMMONAL ore mabe Dynamite but it's a lidle bit unrealistic but mabey possible well it's very hard to detonate high explosives with flash powder but super fine Aluminium mabe will detonat without confinmet when you can do this it would detonat high explosives but there is an flash powder type it ist Klco3 50 and 50 1Micron Magnesium with this Mixture you could detonate high explosives much easier than any other flash powder but chust remeber it has to be super fine Magnesium ore Aluminium but more insensitiv explosives like RDX,PETN,ETN is imposible
