These comments that she went for the ball... only after she pulled down Jewel's shoulder with her left did she swipe with her right. She was beat and resorted to cheap tactics to stop JL.

The Sky are the most classless ,unintelligent team in the WNBA, there was no play on the ball and Carter has a reputation for dirty plays!

Carter got a flagrant 1 Friday too. She is a good player but also a knucklehead. Eventually she will get ejected or injure someone. This is her fourth flagrant 1 in 20 games.

They see nothing from the league office that was a dirty playing very dangerous as jewel was in the air when the cheap shot happened. This is dummy commissioner needs to get some leaders in there to Tampa this s*** down and get more of a flowing tight basketball played in this leg so we can enjoy Caitlin Clark and all the skill players and not have to worry about them getting knocked out of the air. The window of opportunity is there for the w but they have to get cheap shots out and the hand checking out like the nba did. It doesn't mean there can't be hard fouls or tough point but they need to change on the fly.

Gotta say, if these women played at the playground I grew up at and pulled the crap I see in a lot of WNBA vids, somebody would be getting their behind kicked.

Carter has established a track record…She is willing to put other player’s health and careers in jeopardy for the ‘W’. Witherspoon shares in this. All Witherspoon would have to say is ‘ no more’

The only way you're gonna change it is to suspend the player 1 or 2 games in the coach 1 or 2 games. Remember Kennedy's cheap shot to Clark at evil angel jumped up and down with joy? They need to get that s*** and all those hand checking out of The league. There's a very small window of opportunity for this league to take off in the coming years thanks to the Caitlyn Clark Effect. Don't f*** it up w.

It's not the arms swinging, it's all in the legs. The way she positioned her right leg to block the left leg of Jewel while she was in full motion was a hard tripping move and could only result in one way; Jewel hitting hard to the ground. That is why this should be a flagrant 2 as this move is dangerous on a hard floor. In soccer this move is known to trip a player and can result in a foul but at least you land on grass and land relatively soft en you can slide to dissipate the energy. Here you land on a hard surface and that makes the move very, very dirty.

She grabbed her shoulder and then swiped at her recklessly after she was beaten....Another reckless play, should have been a flagrant 2

She can not control her emotions and then loses control. She needs anger management classes.

She does more tomahawk chops than a Brave's fan. Reese gets so many rebounds cause she picks up her own crappy missed shots.

Should have been a flagrant 2 because Carter’s left hand grabbed Loyd’s left shoulder and Loyd was going up, plus Carter’s wild swipe with the right arm.

Where is the Chicago head coach in all of this? Would she be ok with other teams pulling this kind of crap against HER team? I don't think so. Carter is a talent, but she is lacking in understanding and judgement. The WNBA should make clear that this kind of play is unacceptable.

Stiffer penalty is in order before a player gets permanently taken out.

At 0:08 you can see Reese deliberately step into and trip opponent. Reese extends leg toward sideline while opponent heads down court.

This type conduct is becoming normal for this dirty player!

Geez, the Chicago Sky are trying to be like Detroit Pistons in the late 80's/early 90's with the "Bad Boys" routine/image (or the 76ers "bump & thump" with Barkley). I'm surprised Chennedy Carter didn't close-line Lloyd like Bill Laimbeer did to Kevin McHale. This type of play is totally ghetto blacktop style. No blood, no foul type of hacking and play. And I'm not saying the women can't get physical and mix it up, but someone is going to get seriously hurt. Possibly career ending injury as well. In any sport that is completely uncalled for and should result in the offending player being ejected from the league permanently.

You can tell she is not good enough to be anything other than be an enforcer, her coach has her there to be overly agressive to slow down the opponents. It was a tactic used in other sports especially hockey when a team simply could not contain better players. Take a look at her fouls in every case she was clearly beaten and lacks the talent to put up points so watch how she is never attacking from a true defensive position that could result in a blocked shot but always from behind or blind sided not chance at really blocking a shot but perfect setup to pretend and deliver a head and body shot. She is an enforcer not a capable basketball player at this level.

The WNBA is like watching Roller Derby and the World Wrestling Federation combined.

For Pete's sake. When are they going to suspend that thug.

What!? I think she was going for the ball. She went for the ball and missed as Jewel gathered for her shot. Did she even touch Jewel? I really love Jewel she’s one of my favorite WNBA players, but that was at the most, a normal foul. Am I not seeing the contact others are seeing? It was very little contact (with the arm/hand) and more a bump with the body.
