Love the tips! One time I was standing at the carousel for over an hour, waiting for my bag to come -- eventually I realised I was at the wrong carousel and I wasn't even at the airport! 😭
When I am marking trails on my property I keep a roll of flagging tape in my front pant pocket with a short strip hanging out of the pocket, same idea as your safety vest pocket. For forestry work I like the pink color, green red orange or yellow can still blend in and be harder to see, I have not tried blue just because I can't find that color.
