Thanks Abby. Prompted me to throw 7 rakk commander mods out, more bank space :) seriously though the Bounty hunter mod is flawed, using the test dummy it never procs the most dangerous game or frenzy , which are the 2 best kill skills, making the mod only useful for boss fight with full points in Hunters eye, getting the full passive bonus's, thats about it.

Depending on the de4deye you get you can combine it with a certain build and 1 shot bosses

Thanks! For Rage and Recover, the skill doesn't say "Hunter Kill Skill" or "Hunter Skill" so I don't believe it's impacted by cosmic stalker, but I haven't tested that specific skill

It really depends on your build. With R4kks, you want to use R4kk P4k or Cosmic Stalker, for Gammavore either Friend Bot or Red Fang, and Fade Away either Cosmic Stalker or Bounty Hunter

on my testing with the bounty hunter class mod you can only proc the 3% chance on the skills that match that enemy type/fl4ks personal damage, for example you cant proc the most dangerous game on standard mobs but as soon as you start shooting a badass enemy it will proc, same for frenzy as it is the pet that procs it with damage fl4k's damage cannot proc the 3% chance on frenzy :)

There was a little bit of misinfo on the Cosmic Stalker and Bounty Hunter I wanted to bug you about, hopefully without being annoying. You describe Cosmic Stalker (and Big Game as well) as boosting hunter kill skills, when it in fact boosts all hunter skills. It's a simple word mix up, so I really don't want to jump down your throat too much over it, but this word mix-up pops up a few more times in the video. You also say Furious Attack is a hunter kill skill, but then describe Frenzy as a hunter skill, which might confuse someone who thinks Cosmic Stalker effect only boosts hunter kill skills. Bounty Hunter will trigger purchased hunter kill skills, so it cannot trigger Frenzy. Thanks for the video, I appreciate the analysis of the class mods and skill bonus optimization. It's nice food for thought for reconsidering my own gear biases, and will definitely help me get back into Rakk Fl4k. I really liked Rakk Attack when I first played the game, but I couldn't resist the power of pre-patch Guerillas In The Mist, and got stuck on Fade Away ever since.

You said late in the video that you can get R4kk P4k on the Maliwan Takedown without mayhem 4. Is this true? It contradicts what pretty much every website says about the 4 new class mods being mayhem 4 exclusive. But you also said it was only when farming their dedicated drop enemies. It would be great if my wife and I didn't have to farm the takedown on m4 trying to get everyone's new class mod since we can only seem to complete it with Amara +spiritual driver.

Hey Abby, for the R4k P4k mod you said you can farm the takedown on any difficulty and get it to drop whereas in the proving ground you have to be on mayhem 4 is that proven? Just asking cause if so I'm thinking farming the takedown on like mayhem 2 would be a pretty easy way to get the new class mod

yes, for the takedown, you can be on any mayhem difficulty

yes, unfortunately you have to be on mayhem 4 and it only drops from the Trial of Cunning boss.

for a rakk build, rakk pak is still the best (with cosmic stalker 2nd). for fade away builds, if you're using cryo and normal/kinetic weapons only (since it's bugged with elemental dmg) then st4ckbot can be good yea

De4aeye with go for the eye and two f4ngs is so... pointless. They should put 50% bonus damage and change the skill points. To focus on slow builds. Rakk comander is a mess, doesn't even have the synergy with the rakk tree at all. BTW did you see the moxxi dlc new class mod? It rewards skilled players without being cheap! I think it will be my favourite

It seems to me that whoever did the text for the Class Mods and whoever did the text for Fl4k's skills were utilizing different resources. The Skill trees identify certain skills as "Hunter Skill" (or "Hunter Kill Skill" if it's a kill skill), and there are various synergies/mechanics to specifically look out for on these - whereas the class mods all seem to refer to these as "Hunt Skills." Given that the red tree is labeled "Hunter," I feel like "Hunt Skill" makes the most sense, as "Hunter Skill" could generically refer to any skill in the red tree. It seems like a semantics issue that could be clarified better by making a better distinction (or in some cases making a better correlation) between the class mod text, skill text, and red skill tree name. Or maybe I'm just overthinking it.

This sounds like the entire game to me. Major case of left hand not talking to the right hand when it comes to bosses vs. general gameplay.

You know what I miss and only recently realized even wasn't in the game? Class Mods....Don't change your TITLE anymore. *sadness* I dunno, I always enjoyed being a "Special Version of your class" thing when I put on a certain mod. And it doesn't happen in 3. Also, anyone know how the "Blank Skills have X greater effect" passives work? Are they multiplicative, are they added directly, what's the deal? REALLY wish numbers were adjusted in the windows to reflect passive skill effects on them.

I found a +5 interplanetary stalker mod. It's pretty stout

it all depends on your build. red fang is great for wotan, the final boss, because your pet doesn't die while in gamma burst and you can revive your pet with gamma burst.

this 1.08 patch has made the game a complete joke! Guardian rank still does not work and game level mayhem3 is equivalent to mayhem4. No fun in game anymore
