This is a meme and all but I'm gonna be that guy to remind everyone that all DAWs are on par with each other. It's usually the user whose holding themselves back, thinking 'this specific DAW is meant for mixing' and 'this specific DAW is meant for producing' or 'that specific DAW is meant for mastering'. At the end of the day, your skills and creativity are more important than your DAW.

Porter Robinson mixes and records on FL, are his vocals trash??? It depends upon the producer and his skills, not the software
I feel like pro tools actively tries to make their UI as non user friendly as possible.
ProTools worked better for me when I enjoyed working in a more organic way, plugging my guitar into the amplifier, shaping my tones in analog, and recording with a microphone in front of the speaker... However, I had a retinal detachment, needed to undergo emergency surgery, and the postoperative period involves severe rest for 12 months until the next surgery where the silicone gel implanted in my eye will be removed. I've experienced extreme pain with any movement, including playing guitar, which I had to stop because I feel a lot of pain in the eye from the arm's motion. But since I can't stop making music, I continued composing directly in the DAW, and ProTools proved to be extremely inefficient for someone composing using a mouse and keyboard. I even tried other DAWs similar to ProTools for composing directly in the DAW, like Cubase, StudioOne, Reaper, and in general, none of them proved to be as practical and efficient as FL Studio. I'm taking my first steps in FL Studio, still have a lot to get used to, but it has truly shown to be the best for someone who has lost the ability to play an instrument anymore and needs to compose solely using the computer!

I think this is subjective, I learnt to use Cubase sx in just a few hours, and I only clicked back then. I love Cubase. But FL took me so long I kept abandoning it for Cubase. I don't see how FL is better than Cubase, I use FL now but I'm always still going back to Cubase whenever I'm finding it difficult to get the vibe I want. I think every Daw as it own use.

I know this is an old post but Pro Tools is by far a more organized and better DAW. You can do some of the same major functions in Pro Tools that you find in FL Studio. And don't get me started with recording vocals in FL Studio; what's with the creation of tracks/playlists when you're trying to punch in. And exporting in FL Studio is all f'ed up. I got it figured out, but damn Gina!! Can we get a more streamline workflow? And you can make beats in Pro Tools as well. But I think FL Studio is the winner on that front.

PT in my experience is way better with vocals, don’t get me wrong you can make really good beats on it, but from my experience FL Studio (with the right equipment and experience) can be better with instruments, Vocals however, PT Is so much better, since you don’t have to worry about all the bullshit of recording a sample unlike FL Studio. So both have their ups and downs, none is meant to be perfect, it’s just one that fits your ideal of producing
Reaper is like a mix of both . Reaper is so good tho

FL producer and all the studio stuff, completely in ProTools (Studio stuff = recording, mixing, mastering) The organization and complexity of a serious mix would be a mess in FL..Where FL shines and is quick (producing) makes ProTools look slow; but when you need to organize files, complex sidechain or control multiple busses, use groups, show, hide or rearrange tracks, and work with 150+ tracks, then the organization of ProTools shines and is FL what makes you want to stick a pencil in your eye.
