Justin,Can you talk about attack and release for vocal compression. I understand the concept of each but in practice I never seem to get them right. A demonstration of how to set each would be outstanding! And, maybe discuss how to know when you're attack time is too early or too late based on the transient and instrument/vocal. Thanks in advance! Your channel is absolutely brilliant!

I have an amazing setting for transient processor and whenever I use I have ZERO background noise. I'm using a very shitty mic right now and it records with the most annoying bg noise. Literally I've been wanting to make a video on that but nobody would've watched lol. Also, again, you published an amazing, helpful video and nobody can thank you enough for all these things you've shared with us!!!!!

what de-esser do ya'll use. I don't know how to put spitfish on Fl studio

waaaaaaay easier than doing parallel-compression for having the vocal or any element cut through the mix. Both techniques are for that purpose but this way is more simple as it is a single plugin as opposed to having to route a dry and wet channel back into your chain and then mixing the wet accordingly so it will fit with the mix. typing that was even a bitch. All hail Transient Processor! And Omoi!

When I record, I make sure that the recording is raw. I made a recent video on the best recording setup in FL Studio 20.1 if you are interested in how to do that!

It is from FL Studio, but I believe you will need to purchase it from Image-Line's shop. I could be wrong, but check just in case!
