    Good tut man. I've been using FL for five years and try to lay down piano melodies by playing, but I like this technique. I won't use it very much, maybe if I'm out of creative juice, but I'll keep it handy and share it with beginners who crave good music and class. Keep up the good work man. Peace!

    One of the nicer subtle things about using the slicer tool to perform this technique is that the further two notes are from each other chromatically, the further they will be apart in timing. This quite accurately mimics the way a pianist would play, as each of these notes are slightly varying in timing (due to their physical distance on the keys and the limitations of human fingers)

    True. That IS what the blade tool is for. The hack is really in the setup; chord multiplication. Plus not many people consider the diagonals with the slice tool.
