You don't have to refresh the plug in it will automatically show

You're right. I just installed a cloud plugin for the first time and it appears in the list automatically under (FL CLOUD) category.

You shouldn't need to refresh plugins, they should just drop straight in and be there

You dropped a Generator into a mixer track it's not a bug you need to drop the thorus plugin from the Effects folder above

in the arterial collection they also use stars for favoriting but they have five different stars different colors so you can use them for different reasons I wish fruity loops would do that

FL said that you can get another 30 day free trial of cloud pro even if you already had it when cloud 1st dropped. But it won't let me get another trial. Not sure what the problem is?

It’s so annoying in daws and software it will sometimes select my LG monitor as an audio output device and I haven’t found a way to remove it

You can try using the image-line forums. No joke I would start my search with the example " audio playing through wrong speaker image-line forums" should be able to see the I-L forums in the search. if you're lucky you'll have a forum for your speaker issue in the top results. Then search on IL forums cause someone has had the same issue in the past 20 the forums has been around.

8:08 lookahead CREATES latency. it just means that the plugin will take some time to process the audio before applying the effect. like in compressors with lookahead on it starts the volume ducking before it plays the audio so the transients dont pop off too much if that makes sense

16:55 the reason that error message shows up is because you dragged that plugin from the "Generators" folder in your browser. you have to drag it from the "Effects" folder. that is so annoying and it took me 10 years to figure that out :(

It’s not a bug, you tried to put an effect plugin from the generator section. you have to go to the effect plug-ins section to put it on a mixer track

@@LarryOhh Nope, you tried to open an effect plugin from the Generators section. If you went under the Effects section, and you would've seen "New->Thorus". Image-Line will tell you this themselves. Everything under Generators, FL will only see it as a vst instrument.

I used to create a folder and and then go search for plugins that I liked I have one for drums I have one for synth and I have one for effects and I would open up the root folder of the plugin copy it and paste it into my new folder and all those subfolders would be under my favorites the folder that I created so all of my presets were neatly represented in an organized way. to reiterate I would create a folder called my favorites then subfolders would be created called effects since drums etc. as I found the plugins that I liked I would open up those folders copy the plugin in their original folder paste them into my subfolder that I created that way I always went straight to all my favorites.

smh bruh. if you want your instruments/vst to pop in that list you gotta star them in, like you would for the FX channel rack. Right-click on an instrument or sample on the channel rack sequencer. you get a pop-up menu, click on Insert then go to More Plugins, then hit the Manage Plugins button. in there, you can star highlight the vst's you want to show in the list. cheers

there is no bug. you just haven't told the daw you want it to show you a new vst or fx. All newly installed third-party fx and plugins need to be star'd in the manage plugin folder i explained above
