    Yeah how do they get it to sound like that. It was actually soothing as Brit driving in Florida. Our bridge joints are just bump, thud thud thud bump when it hits the expansion joints.

    @@marcgardner868 Bridges have grooves for traction, and when tires cross them they make distinct sounds (based on the pattern).

    Ah, the most infamously jammed ramps in all of the Golden Glades! And I sincerely doubt the reconfiguration project will change that, given that they're not really doing anything to redirect that pattern. Widen the Palmetto all you want, it still gets bumper to bumper anyway 😆

    In my opinion, the Palmetto south of the current southern terminus of I-75 is built up to interstate standards and should be a southern extension of 75 down to it’s end at US1 in Kendall but that’ll lead to costly renumbering of exits and mileage numbering. If FDOT did that, it’ll be mile marker 486 to enter Georgia instead of the current mile marker 471.
