I have been wanting one of these bags FOREVER. Your video made me take the plunge. I just bought a leaf green one from Nordstrom with free shipping! My husband thinks you are bad for our budget, Sam because everything you have I have to have. Nope, we just have the same taste...great minds think alike and all that.

It's so funny to see how trendy the Fjällräven Kånken is internationally. In Sweden kids have used it for many years (since the 70s if I'm not mistaken), and the mini is now common for preschoolers. It's a beautiful bag, but I feel that the price is really high due to the tendiness of the bag.

I would like to see an updated "what I carry in my Fjallraven kanken" I believe I saw an unboxing video of one that you purchased in a different color. The color is so pretty these bags are so great thank you for the inspiration.

The buttons are a nice added touch to the gray color. Love your style!

I have 3 bigs and 2 minis. They are so light. I like the top handles, that is the best feature. It's always great to have a bag with lots of options, cross body, one shoulder, on the back. It's great for planners, holds a lot standing straight up :)

Hi, I‘m 51 year old and love my Känken Mini in fog!

I will have to look into one of the Fjallraven backpacks. I currently am using a Kipling backpack as my everyday handbag but this one looks great.

Ty for commenting on the strap for the fossil sydney. I always felt like i missed out not getting one. You and I are the same size according to the measurements you gave so I would have hated the fit, so now I'll never wonder lol. The hunt for a roomy crossbody continues!

I have a full size slate color reKanken and I love it. I use it more these days as my journal/ planner couch bag. It holds my fountain pen case, markers, watercolor tin & waterbrush, sticker book, Apple pencil, and my daily journals for ease of use to lug to the bedroom or the couch while I watch movies. It's my "magic bag." I keep my extra padded straps in the back pocket with that little sitting pad.

6 months? wow! it doesn’t look dirty and it sure last long. I might get one in fog or black in the regular size. How much did you get it for?

Where have I been! I didn’t know that bag was so useful! I have a Jansport backpack that works when traveling via an airport, but too big for day-to-day usage. Love that color! Gray & Taupe are my favs. I’m thinking Graphite or Sand. Ditto on the germ topic. Haha on your thoughts of bathroom air blowers! My girls laugh at my germ phobia. I specifically bought a mini hand sanitizer on a “D” ring to have instant access when I’m out and about. I just saw your 2nd video with your new Ochre Kanken mini and it’s definitely on my wishlist! OMG thank you for the non petite review..gotta love those bags were your shoulders seem to touch in the back and your arms are up or again those crossbody bags where the strap is so short that it is almost under your armpit..hahaha

Im 5’6” and wear a 2x top and a 22-24 pant. I struggle wearing it on my back like a normal backpack. I can wear the classic but it is too big internally. Do the straps dig into your arms or shoulders?

I just bought the art sling off Zappos.

I love my re-kanken 2 all black in regular size, I use it almost every day but I've wanting the mini, I wonder if you can fit a happy planner in it? Thanks so much

It was really rough at first, to be honest. But I’m settled in after the shock of it all has worn off and am basically just back to all of the precautions I’ve always taken with germs.
