I just got one of these in the mail today from Amazon. Love it! Looks factory, and people who don't know probably won't realize there is a hidden space underneath. I like the wireless charging pad idea!

I did the same thing, I added a "cover" that I made out of exercise mat foam and then painted accordingly. Keeps everything covered, clean looking (not messy), and out of sight. I also keep my quarters in a pill bottle, nothing more aggravating than hunting for change or having it rattling...LOL. Great video! (I did the USB charger mod first a while ago, before I watched this video. Great idea!!

@@LiL13izzy7 I did the window opening switch and the unlocking lever (I watched your video as an instructional after I ordered it from Dallas S on the FJ Cruiser Forum) Also placed a couple of 12v cig outlets to power my Fridge and recharge my Jackery at the same time. Everything was wired to empty fuse slots. Installed a shelf and fridge slide in the back as well.
Another great video! I appreciate & look forward to your upgrades and DIY videos for the FJ.

Great video, just ordered one. Would be nice if it would lock some how. Maybe use a magnet so it won’t move if some scumbag is rummaging through your FJ.
I dig the wireless charger idea. 🤔 Cool lil mod.
