Fixing weird stitches
This video shows how to "fix" a file that has those extra centering stitches you may find in a design - such as a BX font or a font that you mapped in AlphaTricks.
Remember - ANY stitches that you SEE in Embrilliance are actually going to stitch! Jump stitches that have been set to be jump stitches are "invisible" in the Embrilliance programs. I see so many who are NOT familar with Embrilliance say otherwise in other groups and that may be true in their software - just not true in Embrilliance! If you SEE a thread, it is going to stitch. That's the law 🙂
I show how to use the color stop of Essentials AND Stitch Editing of Enthusiast to fix. This does NOT fix the entire alphabet forever, just this one design.
For those that want to see how to fix the alphabet using either of these techniques PLUS AlphaTricks, I did create a mini class for those that subscribe to my Vimeo channel vimeo.com/ondemand/sewbubbles...

You make it look so easy! I'm gonna give it a whirl using the last method. Thanks for the class.
I hope I can remember this!!!! I had a lettering design that had SOOO many of these, took forever to fix. Thank you for another AHA!! moment.
Thank you so much for this video. Hopefully I'll remember it when I go to do this. This has been a real problem on some of my designs and this will save me so much time. I love your videos, I learn so much.
Thank you for all your awesome videos
Awesome. I have been so afraid of the stop key. This made itcdimlle for me to understand. Thanks!
Great information! Thanks so much!
I needed this video ...THANK YOU
Thank you!
Thank you
i kind of figured this out on my own but ive been deleting the stitches, not moving them into the design. ill have to try that from now on.
Good to know.
Can I do this on an appliqué design? My oesd chickadees have 3 or 4 connecting jump stitched... I could not cut out the knots! I ended up taking a marker and coloring them the same color as the background fabric (red)... anyway. I just purchased enthusiast, and will take these tips and see if I can get it to work!
I had this problem with a design, not a font. When I opened in Embrilliance it then had a bunch of jump stitches :(
Thank you - love your videos. Can I ask please - if removing the stitches via the Essentials way (changing colours and deleting), does this automatically do a tie-off at the stop?

Thank you! I am very new at this and found your video because I'm trying to get a handle on how jump stitches work. My machine (Bernette B79) has a cut jump stitches feature but I'm finding that it isn't always working. Your video was extremely helpful in understanding this more. Can you tell me why a digitizer would leave those wonky stitches in their design in the first place. Or is it simply something that occurs when the file is converted to different formats. And if so, why wouldn't they fix them?

I don't know - I would ask the digitizer.
Hi Lisa, 1st off thank you for your great videos, I am learning SO much! I have Stitch Artist 3. Is there a way to put a center stitch only with zigzag underlay? I can't find a setting for that, maybe it is called something else? Any help with this is greatly appreciated always... Thanks again

how to publishing a bx font monogram ?
Hi there. I'm new to Embrilliance, and the satin stitching on one of the designs is too narrow, causing the fabric to tear out. Can you post a link to a video that helps me, please!!° Thanks so much
