FIXING THE ANNOYING AIR LEAK IN THE FREIGHTLINER CLASSIC
I figured since I had the day off let me dive in and fix this air leak because it was annoying the crap out of me so that’s what I did and I took you guys along with me. Hope you enjoy this one! If you would like to contact me here’s the information! ( Businessdatguyarmin@gmail.com )

Hey bud the water drops you see there in the A/C piping is not a leak of anything,is the result of the freon in those copper pipes going into the thermostatic valve very cold (condensation} and they'r expose to the warm or hot cabin temperature in your truck, I think there's a cover (trim) that goes under the dashboard missing, therefor exposing all that piping and creating condensation. BTY. That trim part is got to be of some type of material that is or has insulation of some kind to prevent that from happening.Or you can also fix it yourself by applying cork insulation to it.It raps around the TXV valve and the piping, pretty much like tape. Therefor insulating everything that needs to be cover. I have been an A/C tech for a long time.Hope this info is of much help. THANKS AND KEEP ON TRUCKING!!!!

It’s a valve that changes the air flow from defrost to panel. It’s a common break & a pain in the arse to change

It’s like plastic actuator basically when you move the knob the air gets sent to it which then allows it to move back and forth
