This actually makes me more confident in buying a broken figure. I've never owned any of the Kenner rexes only the Mattel one. Lately I've been looking for some good deals on the original figure and alot either have horribly kinked necks or tails or missing limbs.

Could you make a video explaining more how to fix the kink in the tail so I can do it to mine.

Been waiting for something like this, there are so many broken big reds out there that need some love. thx!

This is incredible, fantastic work ! You gave a second life to this toy. And now i know what's inside this famous Red Rex !

Just discovered you and after seeing this video you reminded me of that old dude from toy story who repaired woody and made him look as if he was new! You just did that with the T-Rex! So awesome!

I cannot even tell you how long little 7 year old me tried to fix that bent tail we all had on our Rexes. God I LOVED this toy. Christmas 1993...

The tip of the tail of one of my red rex is missing what do i do to fix it

I’ve been seeing his videos since I was 7

Just acquired a red rex and I'm trying to fix it up like you did. This video has been rather helpful, though at the moment I am stuck. I can't exactly roll up the first half of the skin, and the two halves are refusing to pull apart. As well as when I went to open up the underbelly where the battery was, instead of it being empty there's a rusty battery still plugged in. Anyone have any suggestions?

Gently pull the battery out (use a tool if it's stuck), and clean the battery compartment/contacts with Q-tips and vinegar. Vinegar cuts thru (oxidizes?) the battery acid residue.

i had to cut off part of the leg "bone" to get access to the hidden screw

The red rex gets double the love since the kid who had it before probably loved the red Rex and now it’s getting fixed up

My favorite prehistoric Pokemon are the Aerodactyl and Kabutops and Tyrantrum. And now that I think about it have ever thought about sculpting one or two of your favorite Pokemon? If I were to do so I start with the Aerodactyl?

Man it sucks my red rex's string or cable is broken and missing. I think the previous owners tried to fix it because 3 quarters of the cable is missing and there was old glue where the seam line is. At least I could be able to fix the sounds!

I believe that this T Rex is still the best of all JP line figures, I’m not saying the others are bad... well only the Hasbro’s 2015 from Jurassic World, that one is horrible, but this one of 1993 is just beautiful

I thought the mouth was supposed to open when you made him roar.
