We all know Liverpool are one of (if not) the greatest comeback teams in Europe, we’ve seen it multiple times so we might witness another one. Just like the 2005 final and the 3-0 against Barcelona it seems highly unlikely and almost impossible, but as long as we believe there’s hope! I honestly think we’ll witness another moment of greatness

Yes like when Liverpool beat Real Madrid under Klopp and came back and revenged 😂😂😂 things that never happened , that 5-0 game was the first leg , the 2-0 was the second leg , why are we as Liverpool fans not calling out Klopp and his mediocre unfocused players at crunch time , lightning has struck us 4 times this season and we are making excuses for bottling and lack of urgency

I think chaos ball works when you’re on the come up, which is why he’s one of the best ever at getting the most out of players but doesn’t stay there long

We said the same about FA cup and now the europa league? Next we will be saying this about the premier league. What type of mentality is this ditching competitions we are in just because we lose a game. We need to start winning games. The players need to try harder and I’m not saying they aren’t giving it their all, they need to give 110% or god forbid we won’t win the PL. I think what the original commenter is saying is the PL is the priority anyway and who cares about the EL. Could be a blessing in disguise to not have 3 more games to play in the hunt for title 20.

We have huge tactical changes compared to last season and at the same time we have a new Midfield as well as a whole attack except Salah, new RB, new CB. Gakpo has been playing in a different position throughout the season. Bradley is a RB but has played as a RW and also as an 8 and as I recall for a while as a DM. Gomez has played RB, LB, CB and DM. Jones has played as RB, 8 and 6. We have also had Bajcetic and Thiago out for the whole season. At one point, we had our Midfield Opening Lineup in the form of Gakpo - Elliot Endo (Or was it Gomez?) I think that one game also Tsimikas had to play as LW. I think Klopp has done a phenomenal job. We should remember that at one point we had 4 or 5 U19 players in the team when the regular first team players were injured. Honestly, I don't think any other coach could have made the team perform as well. Our players are just tired because Klopp has had to overplay them, because, many of the players have been injured. But hey, we should not to put our heads to the haystack, instead lets support our team and enjoy the last moments of Klopp's heavy metal football. After the last match, I would love to hear the yelled demands to build the statue to honor the greatest coach of all time, Jurgen Klopp. He has earned it.

To anyone paying attention, this is a pattern of Liverpool under Klopp every season. Insipid performances every season for between 5 to 10 games. They'll most lightly find their form again, but by that time the season hunt for trophies will be over leaving Klopp to parade the League Cup.

I honestly think this result was a long time coming. We are conceding WAY to many chances to teams, not just the 1st goal.

Use some of the reserve players and see if Gasperini will be able to deal with unknowns.

The two of them would be a nightmare and they would get to the byline a lot

My parents are Greek but I will not be bias. Kostas is the worst left back I've seen at Liverpool in over 40 years of watching the reds. And yes there have been some dross in that position. I've never seen a player play so many sideways and backwards passes. He is absolutely awful!!

There is one thing missing. The misguided protest by a group of supporters over a 2% rise in ticket prices. They refused to have flags and banners in the kop. This led to a terrible atmosphere. It was also the talk of the local media in the run up. Yes the performance was poor but a rebellion in your support must have had an effect. They chose the wrong night and now the whole season is in jeopardy
