I guess I missed the memo, how to turn your reverse light into a turn signal light 😏

They have a product out that allows you do that with pigtails in the kit and switchbacks to move the turn signal down there while still having a back up light. It’s made by vleds. I have them on my 23 limited

I have a 23 TRD Off Road. I replaced the tail light bulbs with LEDs but I made sure to buy ones that don't cause hyperflash, no need to spend extra for the resistors.

What's wrong with standard light bulbs? There is no need to spend all that $ for those bulbs and then all this other stuff. When it's all free to you Chloe, no big deal. I'll keep my standard bulbs, they work just fine.

Nobody said or insinuated there’s anything wrong with standard bulbs. LEDs make your vehicle look sharper and a lot of people like improving the look of their vehicle. That’s as deep as it goes

Make sure there is air circulation around that load resistor. Why? If you’re at a traffic light with prolonged waiting periods or the use of hazard flashers. Under these circumstances, that load resistor will become very hot. I’ve done this on several install on various trucks and cars. The temperature of that load resistor can reach well over 150F during that time.

I juat changed the flasher box out for a led compatible one. But that was in a 94 suburban so its much simpler thst way.

I figured replacing the relay would have the same effect and use less power.

Ok well,, MY question is,,, why would you have that issue with your reverse light location 🤷🏼♂️

You don't need that big fancy box. A simple 1 cent resistor would do the job. All you have to do is calculate the difference in wattage between the original bulbs and led bulbs, then voltage squared (12 x 12 = 144V) divided by wattage difference gives you the ohms (value ) of the resistor you require. Furthermore, I initially liked your visa, but as I watched more of them, I realised that you don't know anything about vehicles and you're just trying to use your female bits to keep kids watching.
