I fix it! This one needed a little work to be able to play it. As you can tell from the video the circuit board need some cleaning. I have always used an erasure doing this, but I bet there are better ways to do it. I guess I'm stuck in my ways of doing things, but I'm always willing to learn something new. Once I got it working, and I figured out how to play it, I'm glad it all worked out for the video. I like the sound san flashing cards! These old handheld games are fun to play with and learn about on video.

as for the dirty buttons, you may want to try some isopropyl alcohol with a q tip to remove the dirt, it will be a little gentler on the circuit board. Based on some research, 90% should be used on circuit boards.

What a coincidence of this being uploaded just one month ago. I found one of these in my mom's junk drawer and found that it "worked" (after replacing corroded batteries inside) but the sound was very intermittent... I had to really apply force on the bottom left corner, basically trying to twist the whole device for the sound to work. Because of this video I was able to open it up and fix the sound. To fix the sound, what I did was: Clean back of the big circular metal thing in the middle of the board, and slightly bend the diagonal piece that contacts it up. Looked as though red wire wouldn't interfere, but sound was still intermittent. Bent diagonal piece up slightly more, and laid the red wire to wrap around the other way instead... one of those things (probably changing the red wire placement) fixed the sound completely.
