Rockstar did it themselves with patches

I love how lots of these upscaled textures have these upscaling artifacts, shows you how much GSG cares about the game, modders did really good job fixing these textures, that's how it shoulda been from the start.

GSG is not at fault for that. Rockstar probably gave them a due date in which they couldn't rework the game properly. GSG ist not big. They are like 20 persons. Maybe even less. Rockstar as always is at fault

The DE Claude looks like he is worried about a thing everytime. And DE Tommy looks like an angry man everytime. The DE SA Claude looks like he is having a horn on his head.

Only in this one modders screw it up. They basically made a retexture of old CJ Skin, or at least it seems in this mod. Although, they still have big room for improvement, specially since Rockstar screw his muscular texture.

@@Zerito_2 in original, that texture doesn't look bad at all. After analysing some videos I found that CJ is a bit shorter in defective edition. Maybe that's why his face becomes distorted

you know is a bad upscale made probably with Esrgan? you know that, right? the only part that looks good its the idea of it being kinda old and a little fucked up in the edges, but the mod its already way better. remember, you don't like that texture, you just like the idea if it being old.

Here's a big applaud for you modders for encouraging me to play this Definitive Edition. Before I started this Must install 50 mods.

I like how people used to argued that the remaster version of this trilogy would finally make this game good without the need of modding and yet we are here.💀

I had low expections from this as Kratos said keep your expectations low and you will never be dissapointed back to the topic people said they might add swimming for gta 3 and vice city cj can climb ladders in the definitive all i believed was gta 5 controls and a graphics mod on these games turns out even kratos adviced didnt help my dissapointment with this bug street remaster

@@johnmarston9262 same but even then, Kratos’s advice is more applicable to himself due to him having a dark past than most other, making him more pessimistic. During this age and day where companies aren’t struggling to fund their studio, people should place at least some what high expectations to what they are spending 60$ or more on. The fact that some people are ok with the remaster like this boggled my mind that company can get away with this as long as the fanboys are still really to spend money on it and defending it as well.

creo que el mod lo hace demasiado ligero en muchos casos, deberia estar en el medio del vanilla y el mod, sera perfecto.

I'd love to see a mod that fixes the new lighting in GTA 3, the definitive edition removed that kind of "blue" atmosphere that the original had and looks too bright and colorful:(

I love mods in GTA Definitive Edition to fix the problem and expect Phil Cassidy's shirt we need something different from 1984 skin or something else like that.

Some characters look better as they are and others look better with retextured mods. It's all down to preference i guess.

You should do a 100% completion longplay of GTA Trilogy: The Definitive Edition with these mods installed

Glad I got original trilogy for 5$ on steam. If Rockstar added these kinds of fixes to the game I would of thought of shelling out the cash, but no way I'm buying this game for $50+.

I am so excited to play The Definitive Edition for these three titles after watching both Part 1 and 2. But, what's stopping me is the cost of the game. Over here in India, it's around Rs. 5000/- which is extremely high. Maybe, I'll have to wait for a while for the price to get reduced to 900 or get it during special occasions. Once I'll get my hands on TDE, I'll be installing all the mods that would make the game great again like it was back in 2000's.

The vanilla version of Claude is fine. Just needed a few tweaks like this, darker hair, lighter skin, fixed brow bridge and less opacity aftershave shadow.

If Rockstar is a house builders, then modders are the painters.

The character fix for Claude in GTA SA gave him his 2000s face, it doesn't make any sense because they clearly wanted to make him look more baby-faced for the time.

I mean, yeah, the darkness, I heard, was one of the biggest complaints with the GTA Trilogy (apart from everything else, of course), but you gotta admit, with a lot of poorly rendered, low res textures, the darkness does kinda help to hide some of them. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Almost in a similar way to the San Andreas fog used to hide the game's technical limitations
