I remember a cartoon in The Regina Leader Post, back in the late 70's. Farmer throwing a grain shovel in the back of his farm truck, talking over his shoulder to his wife saying, 'I'll be back tonight, I'm going to Manitoba to get our farm back'. Best wishes from Northern Manitoba.

Mike, I do not know if I have said this before - I am amazed at the mechanical work needed to keep your labor saving equipment running. I am also amazed at the intricacies and in certain cases delicacies of the equipment. Equipment that you need to do the massive tracks of land you farm. Thank you so much for sharing and God Bless you all. Praying you get the right amount of moisture.

Tractor hydraulic systems should have a tank level indicator and warning buzzer in the cab. Too many times the first indication the operator has of an hydraulic leak is non functioning hydraulics because the tank is empty.

The key to keep land from blowing isn't necessarily moisture, it's having residue to hold the top soil. Mike I'm not telling you this, I know you know, just making the comment. I farm I'm Kansas and we have more problems with blowing after a rain when it's hot out if there is no residue. The top crusts over and that is prime conditions to blow when it's windy. Another thing many don't understand is the way to minimize blowing on bare ground is to till it and break the crust. The key is to not have bare ground.

Mike, I feel the shaft in the auger is bent , when you span it by hand in the last video the shaft looked bent and know with the noise and how its spinning it does look bent. As you already know this would kill the bearing and is probably why it broke the retainer bolt in the first place. Im not trying to be ''that guy'' telling you your business as i obviously cant see it from Ireland , but from the video it looks that way. Just an FYI I may be totally in correct. Kind regards . Thanks for the upload

I come from the northern part of Denmark. We have very sandy soil. 40 years ago it was common practice to plough the fields autumn and seed in spring. If it was a dry winter/spring there was dust everywhere og er had more than a summerbreeze. So I had sand in my underwea after a day om the tractor. Without cabin.
