Fixing a stuck "duckbill" valve on a Sankey D keg tap

Not pouring any beer? The duckbill valve in your keg tap may be stuck and preventing CO2 from flowing.
Remove the tap from the keg and engage the handle - does gas hiss freely from the tap? If not, watch this video on how to fix it.

    Do really need the duck valve I use mine without it with no issues

    Yes. If you run out of CO2 but your keg has pressure in it still there is a chance that beer can flow back into your regulator and ruine it. It is likely less of an issue if you just have one keg hooked up though.
