one word if you want to really fix this issue which if you stay deere parts will never go away: WAPSI

Sometimes they go right together others not.

Got a better solution if you need. No one has these blocks we have on the market.

Why not replace the orings and backup rings inside the connector while you had it apart that far?

I replaced the seals where the hose ends connect, or are you referring to another spot?

Backup rings are behind the o-rings and a pistol to change unless you put them in hot water first. Inexpensive fix with JD parts. Fixed the leaks. Also check for wear or rough spots on hose tips.
