To see whether the string is moving in the clamp better, you should mark the string on the other side of the clamp (the side not being pulled from). When the mark is on the same side as the tensioner, the mark always moves because the string stretches. You could also mark the string in between the teeth to see if part of the string is moving.

how to fix the manual badminton racket string pulling machine can't lock after reaching the set load

I use Pro's Pro Challenger manual machine with Badminton Clamps however i either get damaged marks or the strings slips through. Another problem i do face is a moving base when i release my tension. How could i resolve these these issues? Any help would be appreciated.
