Fixed Blade Broadhead Accuracy Test

Ойын-сауық

We shoot the new G5 M3, Tooth of the Arrow, G5 Montec, and the QAD Exodus through the Elite Kure.
We wanted to know which fixed blade broadhead was flying just right, so we filmed it and figured we would share what we found out. Obviously all broadheads are going to fly different out of each bow, and there is human error in these test. But if you are interested in some of these broadheads this will be a video you are going to want to watch.

Nice shooting! All of your groups were quite consistent, which proves the main variable being tested here was the different broadheads. With your setup, the G5 Montec broadheads would be in my quiver. I switched from a fixed 3-blade broadhead that I shot for decades to Slick Trick Viper Tricks a few years ago. As far as accuracy & penetration goes, I don't see myself ever switching to anything else. If I were searching for a new broadhead, the G5 Montec would be on my short list. It would be interesting to see the same test done with different shooters/bows/arrows.

Nice test! I love the original Montec, it's a cool-looking broadhead that has always performed pretty well for me. It would be nice to see a warm-up and then control group with field points first before jumping right into testing, make it as scientific as possible. Just a suggestion, have a good one!

If broadhead hits high compared to field point you move arrow rest down and vis vs for broadhead low of field point. The physics do not change from paper tuning to broadhead tuning. Bareshaft and broadhead flight will function same way. This is commonly misunderstood. MFJJ of podium archer had to do additional video correcting this bc he had it incorrect the first time.
