If this helps anyone to know - what finally worked for me was to reset paired devices: Settings >Apple Airplay >>Require Code >>>Reset Paired Devices Doing this, and then attempting to mirror screen via iPhone, a code-prompt was issued; and now mirroring works again

What I’ve had happen if I reboot my internet modem it works but next try it won’t. It’s an issue with the Roku tv issue. I spent a hr on the phone with them and never got a actual fix

Try updating your phone to the latest update I didn’t try it because I’m out of storage but it didn’t work for my friend and he updated his phone and it worked for him and me idk it’s very inconsistent hopefully Roku fixes this issue

Maybe your device don't support Airplay, check it on roku site.

You just need to use the same network for roku device and your phone

My screen goes black when I get directed to the airplay screen

Mine doesn’t even show apple airplay and HomeKit

It helps me to turn off the wifi on the tv then turn it back on. The only problem is that seems to only work once until the TV turns off then back on. Then it stops working again.

Maybe you missed something. This problem occurs mostly because your devices don't recognize that they have the same connection on the same network.
