Interesting also for a spanish speaker the greek pronunciation is easier at least for me compared to other languajes like english and french, got bullied a lot for my english pronunciation.

I'm trying to learn a few words for my Greek Holiday. You say Pullover in Greek but then say Sweater. However in the UK we use both Pullover and Sweater to describe the same thing eg you pull it over your head to put it on...Pullover! Sweater comes from Americanisums. Thanks loved the video and helped a lot.

  • @Lumbeelegend

Lol, we use pullover for hoodies, and non hoodies also, but I picture a sweater being thicker and/or fluffier. We have many differences in the US, depending on where you are from. We say soda, pop, drink, etc. also depending on where you are in the US. So complicated. The Southern states uses more British words that places like New York and California dosen't. (Reckon, Yonder, etc.)

Oh my god. It reminds of some old computer game. Age of Mithology and maybe Empire Earth. It's very beautiful language, many assume it's not because of different letters.

It seems like delta and theta make the same sounds. When she said "Ohi, den to thelo" it sounded like "Ohi, THEN to thelo". Am I wrong? Thanks :)

You are wrong. "Δ/δ" pronounced like word "the" , but "Θ/θ" pronounced like word ma"th"s (maths) or mon"th" (month) or "th"ick (thick)

to avoid misunderstanding, when we write Greek with Latin characters, for the letter "Δ/δ we use the corresponding "d" which looks like greek "δ" But letter "d" in greek pronounced like "nt" (ντ)
